If you took Maxis ONE 128 and ipx 64GB, then you'll be charged RM128+RM153+GST = RM297.86
Then Maxis will rebate to your bill RM4500/24 = RM187.50

Therefore, you'll still need to pay RM297.86-RM187.50 = RM110.36 every month  bangwall.gif . This is the calculation I've got from one of the CS.

RM110.36 will appear as total amount due.
RM297.86 will appear as current charges (or total amount)
-RM187.50 will appear as Total amount (or current charges)
I can't recall the configuration of the bottom 2.

It's never a zerolution anymore.   vmad.gif

Ya, the upfront payment defeats the purpose already. Not sure why would anyone pick this instead of buying the device on 0% EPP if they have a credit card.

hi all... just want to ask for those who just sign up new contract for new iPhone with MaxisONE Plan especially the 128 package, how much your monthly bill including GST?

i'm asking on behalf of my relatives who going to sign up to this plan, becausw he afraid later got 'billshock' because of any additional/hidden charges...

AFAIK, if the data used within the quota, then user just have to pay for normal monthly plan for example: 128 + 6%(GST) = 135.68... Am i rite?

p/s: sorry for noob question...

Ya, bill shocks are a thing of the past, unless of course if your relative regularly calls overseas, send plenty of SMS to special numbers, or use roaming quite frequently.

Waiver for zerolution advance you mean?

They are not giving any waivers, the sales person also dont know why. But whatever you pay for advance payment is gona be creditted into your maxis account

Looks like normal conttact with EPP is much more cheaper than zerolution.
Perhaps maxis testing the market on their so called iphone x zerolution package. If there are no takers, they might revise it, or totally sunset the promotion altogether.

Simple. It's a risk transfer they are doing. Transfer the risk of people defaulting the phone payments to the bank. You can EPP it with the bank.

I upgraded to maxis one plan $98. I was using a lot of data recently. No contract though. Not tempted yet by the 24 months contract.

Ya, MOP98 is sufficient for most people but maxis doesn’t allow you to buy current flagship phones with MOP98, need 128 minimum. But ya, if you’re not signing a contract that should be fine smile.gif

Yeah, I’ll stick with mop98 although mop128 is much better without the segregation of data. Haven’t considered on the flagship phones yet. My X is good enough. Hehe.

Your X is flagship enough smile.gif

I did note that they offer subsidized iPhones 7 and 7 Plus for MOP98 though. So maybe when he new iPhones are launched we’ll get the current ones in that plan biggrin.gif

Really? I haven’t checked. But you know how it is. Once the new iPhones are launched, we’d be all over them and forget the current ones.

Have you tried to use other phone to call and use loudspeaker? Sometimes I felt my phone has buzzing sound too, but youtube songs work well though.

I'm not sure I'll continue to "chase" new ones if they start breaching the RM6,000 mark! laugh.gif

If it has buzzing sound, it should buzz for all calls right, not only to 123? biggrin.gif

Should be enough if you’re not into heavy graphics-intensive gaming or 4K videography.
