Forget when the cut off. . I saw recommendation someone with 3 year AF waive
*
u cannot simply follow others. some gotten 1yr, some 2yrs, some 3yrs, some don't get it.

the discretion is up to the bank. we don't know what criteria for the waiver, if any.

as such, for any AF card, it's our own responsibility and agreement to pay the AF come anniversary upon signup. AF waiver request may work for others but may not be applicable to u.

take YOLO, bank rep said I should keep using and ask for waiver on year 2. but I doubt about their promise and will make sure to cancel it later. I don't want to pay AF as well. year 1 is FOC. so I don't mind applying it. but for sure will not keep for longer period.

I for one don't want to keep begging for waiver laugh.gif

*
not the RM500.

he was targeting >RM800 to get max RM50 cashback.

he recorded one transaction wrongly as RM96.00, but actual amount was RM9.60. in total, monthly spent = RM799.80

newbie for YOLO here.
Any online transaction >RM800 will eligible for RM50 rebate right?

and for new card user, eligible for 6months  0% BT? do i need to go thru agent?
he quite aggressive want to help me  apply
*
yes, based on the cb tier table, capped at rm50 cb which is about rm833.33 spending.

if dropped below rm800 (eg rm799), max cap cb of rm20.

no idea on the BT.

hi fruitie,

I got my card on end January and my statement date is on 13th Feb. Is it correct that I will get the rebate for my spending in Feb?
If yes, will it reflect in my 13th March statement or end March (online unbilled statement)?

Thanks for your help.
*
the mechanism is the same as HLB Wise.

you got the card end Jan (donno when). Even if you manage to hit >RM800 eligible spending, you will get max RM50 cb (unbilled) by end Feb. you should see the cb billed in 13 Feb statement.

assuming you didnt spend in Jan, your Feb spending will entitle you cb by end March (unbilled). if this is the case, the unbilled March cb will be reflected (billed) in your 13 Apr statement.

And the amount is any amount?

Thanks
*

quick check: how long does Shopee perform the claim/settlement from YOLO's transactions?

i've paid bills thru Shopee on Mon, 20 Feb. However, that transaction has not been posted as unbilled in Internet Banking.

called CS, he said pending merchant to claim the transaction, usually 3-4 days.

question is, is it the same posting period experienced by others?

For my transaction with shopee, it takes around 3-4 working days to be posted in my PIB since i have record in my own excel sheet when i did my transaction.
*
orite thanks!

on another note, i observed UOB YOLO's posting is slower compared to other cards.

1) purchase from Lazada using UOB YOLO on 21 Feb (Mon, ~3pm), not posted yet.
2) purchase from Lazada using PBB VS on 21 Feb (Mon, ~7pm), already posted on 22 Feb (Tue), viewable in PBe on 23 Feb (Wed).

But, YOLO spending requirement is based on transaction date, not posting date right?
Hope I don't get mess up with other card on this.
*
yep, transaction date.

just that i dont know how long uob or shopee handle the posting, which is longer than usual.

also my preference to avoid cross-month posting laugh.gif

p/s: uob PIB already showed the shopee transaction. posted on 23 Feb, transaction on 20 Feb. sweat.gif

it's pretty obvious.

all your transactions eligible for 6% cb, except those for TELEKOM MALAYSIA BHD KL (HD) MY

total eligible spending: RM325.25, 6% cb = RM19.52 (credited)

Ops, i forgot it is 6%, all the bill for TM are pay through uob payonline, look like i need to give CS a call d
*
some possible exclusion reasons:

1) excluded due to MCC? if yes, what was recorded?
2) excluded due to description? if yes, what are the list?

keep in mind of these when asking them smile.gif avoid mentioning uobpayonline, if possible.

Same here. Didn't get CB for Unifi payment through posonline. What's worse is, I just paid this month bill through posonline before surfing here. Another CB down the drain  cry.gif  cry.gif
Does that mean that from now on we can only get CB for unifi if we pay through OCC?
*
u meant payonline issit? posonline not accepting cc le.

QUOTE(adele123 @ Feb 24 2017, 08:48 PM)
anyway, looks like it's only telekom. TNB bill paid via uobpayonline is getting rebate, so it's not really uobpayonline problem...
*
yeah, need to know due to what is the reason, why it was flagged not eligible.

could be string/keyword detection, but even that so, under which exclusion reason hmm.gif
