Maybank block all card for both iTunes and Google Play. Have to call Maybank to release and allow you to add card and pay with the card. Only can release 1day.

One day? Can be more than that. You can even do it permanently. Mine is unblocked for indefinite period but I don't use it for these two anymore as no benefits using Maybank cards.

I request to release permanent, but they not allowed as tonight I want to purchase an iPhone. But Maybank not allow. So yesterday call to release until tonight 23:59:59. Just now call again and release to 14/10/2016 23:59:59. They need to get approve from officer one. Maybe change already

Let me try next time when I have the mood. I have purchased more than 5 units of iPhone and also few iPads from Apple Store.
If they expect me to call every time, they will have an earful argument from me. I will ask them the rationale behind this even I'm aware of the risk? Calling them is like hitting jackpot these days. Unless they improve this part, else don't bother to make it inconvenient for the customers.

Nope, I don't have in-game purchase. Anyway, I don't think iTunes and Apple Store are using same gateway. Either way to call every time to release it is such an inconvenience measure from them.

Not sure iTunes and Apple Store same gateway or not. Because when I try to add my card. appleid.apple.com cannot, iTunes on Win7 also cannot. Add in App Store same thing.

I made two purchase at Apple Online today - no problem, no need to call anyone

But I had a problem using the Amex card at gemfive and also Apple Store. Two different Amex cards. Received msos code but it cannot authenticate the cvv number. I had to call Maybank to get it fix

Anyone use their Amex for online purchase lately?
