wow, now where can i get that book?

Hanon Exercises can be obtained from any decent music school. I got the updated and simplified version (thank god) from Yamaha Music School Subang Parade. If they teach Piano they should have it.

I read the customers reviews posted in Amazon.com on Pumping Nylon. Received good reviews but not for complete beginner. But I guess valuable addition to aspiring guitarist arsenal of instructional books.

Thanks for the info Rithrade rclxms.gif

I'd like to suggest :

Troy Stetina Series, ie
1) Speed Mechanics for Lead Guitar
plus for metalheads,

1a) Heavy Metal Rhythm Guitar vol 1 & 2
1b) Heavy Metal Lead Guitar vol 1 ( I heard vol 2 is quite tough... Malmsteen would sweat laugh.gif tongue.gif )

Maybe alternative to Hanon exercise & Pumping Nylon, I personally would get Speed Mechanics. IMHO, Pumping Nylon caters for classical and Hanon is piano... but can adapt the exercise.

Thats quite cheap.
Amazon costs book USD 14.16 + shipping USD 11.98 = USD 26.14
which is equivalent to ~ RM (26.14 *2.5) = RM 91.50 sad.gif
