After replacing my phone, I'm still having the white battery icon.... phone is on the latest firmware and I've this Battery status icon after I press the power button.... but but but the battery icon is WHITE!!!

I brought it to Samsung service centre, they couldn't help me...gosh....

Any body having the same issue?

I think u needed to update firmware first..
Then the green icon would appear

1 quick question guys, any1 regret using their replacement unit and wish to use other brand or happy with the new unit?

You don’t have to be a PR professional to realize how badly this is reflecting on Samsung. You don’t need to have studied marketing to know that having your phone brand specifically called out at the start of flights as horribly unsafe is likely to have a depressing effect on future sales. Only pyromaniacs, contrarians, and dedicated Note fans are actively seeking out Galaxy Note 7s at this point.

aiyoh...until today no sign of this phone gonna be back on sale soon... sigh...

XDA forummer say it's due to bad IR filter.

Have for note7. Tested with 2 units of s7e also the same.
Not really bother becoz still able to snap nice pictures.

if it's really issue and they just tweak to minimise... that's still opening up to lawsuit coz that means they know there's an issue and try to hide it.

i dun think samsung that silly to do this. probably, they dun really know what is wrong...

Big companies would do it, especially to have better looking quarterly financial reporting.
Even if they solved the issue, no one would buy it. Many waiting for Note 7, in the end they will buy iPhone 7, S7, P9, etc, either cannot wait for Note 7 or for safety reasons. Samsung missed the opportunity to sell more. We hope that Samsung will buy back all Note 7 from market.
