IMHO, the best options should be a full refund and stay put to wait for either S8 or Note 8. Replacing to S7/S7E just simply doesn't make much sense provided the huge incremental improvement that Note 7 has.
Just hope that SME will throw in more goodies and give the privilege to Note 7 pre-oder user comes the launch of S8 or Note 8.

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Oct 11 2016, 01:34 PM) Good idea.. But I think Samsung have others plans... So far, shape was not the cause of the problems. It was the battery/technical flaws. So they can still retain the aesthetic outer design after correction of their flaws.... anyway the current shape is beautiful and I don't think anyone will mind if they retain this for Note 8. Just my two cents.....

The "Note" is synonym with catastrophe. From my hypothesis, next "Note8" shall be re"brand" to "Galaxy P1" or "P17" where "P" stands for "Professional"; in-line with S-series, J-series, C-series, A-series, etc....
To Sammy's PR, u're welcome...

Will go for P9 Plus or stick back to S7 edge if Samsung ask to return the phone and proceed for refund

QUOTE(choon hon @ Oct 11 2016, 01:42 PM) Honestly, I just hope they will give an option to refund. Getting quite fed up with all these recall/exchange going on. One time is okay but now looks like there'll be another round. Too much hassle and worries just for a phone. quite sure this time... it will be refund. there will not be exchange option. with refund, customers can then use the money to go buy whatever they want.

hmmm... will there be another recall? I don't really mind another recall. I quite like the phone, the design, battery life, especially the spen.
Not sure any phone can come close to it, especially when I use Spen most of the time.

Honestly, I concurred with a lot of user here that there is no other phone which is in line with what note 7 is offering now.

our neighbour... QUOTE Samsung offers loan devices to all Note7 users in Singapore as second recall loomshttp://www.straitstimes.com/tech/samsung-o...nd-recall-loomsSINGAPORE - Samsung Galaxy Note7 customers in Singapore, including those who own the supposedly safe replacement phone, may now request for a loan device of a different model, fuelling expectations that the phone may be recalled a second time.... ...In a media statement, a Samsung spokesman in Singapore said: "Samsung Electronics Singapore is in talks with our telecommunication operator and retail partners to work out a resolution for our Galaxy Note7 customers. Details of the remedy will be shared very soon.... as mentioned earlier... Samsung in every country need to analyse and plan out this recall/ refund... so, do be patient. and frankly, calling CS now isn't going to help. very unlikely CS will get any new info at the moment... Seems like Singapore is hinting there will be a second exchange programme instead of refund?
