Should not refer to tw's news. they had diff replacement gift compare to ours.
- 32G OTG
- 7-Eleven voucher worth approx RM50.00

We have similar package with SG, should wait for SG's news

No matter which country, they will always have better compensation compared to Malaysia. The last recall from SME already proved that. Not sure this time if they will improve or make it worse..... sweat.gif

Look at their facebook. It seems only a few people complaining. So I guess they take their own sweet time since there's not much pressure?

Webe = p1 = conjob... TM needs to get profits from Webe, if not, heads will roll...

I avoid Webe the minute I found out it's under that infamous P1. No matter how cheap it is, we should not trust it at all.

Summary of the whole incident, from Supersaf TV.

It seems that most tech reviewers are pessimistic regarding the future of the Note line.

This source given us something to think about...
They got a point there...Samsung just blew a big hole in their pocket and they will most likely going to sacrifice the innovation for their upcoming phones.

Another quote:
So...should we wait for S8?
*
IMO, S8 will still be great in term of innovation. Afterall, the one that affected is the Note line, not the S line. From what we could expect, S line will be the only saviour that can help Samsung to get out from this catastrophe. So most likely Samsung won't dare to fail on this one. They will give it out in full force. However, we certainly can't say the same thing to the Note 8 (if they do release it in next year). As most of the tech reviewes said, the name is damaged. From now on, people will think of the explosion as long as they hear the name Samsung Note. Believe it or not, that's the consequences of the Note 7 fiasco.

Damn....is it me or that video clip give you the creepy feel of paranormal activity? shakehead.gif

Btw, that lady was holding the smoking phone and walked around. That's too reckless. She should not hold it on hands since it's already smoking so bad. doh.gif

I highly doubt it
I bet many people will buy note 8 due to the S pen

I was not talking about whether people are willing to buy Note 8 or not. I was talking about what Samsung will do on their Note line after this.

Today in HongKong n Macau note 7 still selling n it's 1st day launch.

This HK/Macau Samsung note 7 manufacturing from China, the battery supplier not from Korea. For those Note 7 manufacturing from Korea n Vietnam are affected.

Samsung play very smart on statistic n management.  They knew it soon it will be happen the battery issue coz by heat with the fast charging.

So far today HongKong still selling note 7 n model is SM-N9300

Samsung note 7 more demand on China, Macau,  HK thats why got manufacturer in China n the battery supplier same supply to iPhone company.
Good day bro/sis  smile.gif smile.gif

????????

Not sure what are you trying to say about, bro. I guess you are posting old news? FYI HK/Macau already followed Samsung HQ order and stopped selling Note 7 since yesteday.

Feel sad note 7 discontinue rather than fixing the root cause
*
I think Samsung did want to fix. But since they already lost their market and confidence in US (all 4 major US carriers dropping the sales of Note 7), they might as well terminate the whole product line asap. Afterall, even if they fix it in the future, they cannot guarantee if the market still buy it. Just my 2 cents.

Ps.... not only Samsung is getting 'attacked', even Note 7 users are not spared for whatever reason is.  shakehead.gif
*
From what I could see & read in various mobile forums (China,Taiwan, and US), I think it's because some owners still want to use and keep the phones eventhough Samsung already ordered to switch off the phones. Of course, it's their own business and no one should care about it, if they keep this decision to themselves. But they don't. They want to announce it loudly to the publics. Some even show off and claimed that they could play the phone in airplane and neither air crews nor passengers seems to care about it. it's true. I saw the similar messages in some other forums. Most people are frustrated because of this irresponsible action. IMO, because of this small amount of black sheep out there, that's why most people are critisizing Note 7 users generally. Can't help with it. It's the human nature.

Can we play any phone during flight?.  I thought using phone is prohibited during flight regardless of brand?.

It's only prohibited when the plane take off and landing. You can still use the phone during flight. FYI, some airlines even provide WI-Fi service in flight.

honestly , if i  wan to buy an s7 or s7 edge i already buy it before note 7...
after i use note 7 i will not going b to S7 again...
*
It will be an awkward situation. Not to mention that S8 is right around the corner. Most people will not be considering to buy S7/S7 edge at this moment. Unless they don't care about the latest specs and technologies, or they are desperated to get a phone for daily driver......

WhatsApp android just updated, take a picture and doodle on it.. can also add text and emoji. Too bad we can't use it with spen soon. Is good to take photo and directly write on it and send to some1, vendors or subordinates , all done directly in WhatsApp.
*
The latest update also added some new emojis. And the style is also changed. The emojis now seems larger and colorful.
