Hey all, i'm currently working on a project for my car. It's to install a computer in a car for entertainment and also use it for google searches, online tv, and movies (i know this can be solved with a simple dual din HU, but having a computer in a car allows you to keep terabytes of movies all together. And they're removable )

So,let's start off. First of all, i'm in a dilemma whether to install Mac or windows.

Mac mini is extremely small and i only have to mod my dashboard compartment to put it in there but for the windows system, i have to bring all the wirings back as the system will be placed at the back.

Recommend me on this please.
Second, custom made LCD holder on my dashboard. I'll be using at least 13" or less screen size. Or just buy a photo frame which has hdmi input. So, can i make a hole in my dashboard and send to shop to fabricate a suitable frame for my lcd ? ( like the ones in "west coast customs"  )

Third, i'll be remaking my centre console (gear part there) myself using high quality wood and other necessary items (YES, i have all the tools and skills to do it, i've learnt how to do it and have experience doing it ) But, one problem, is there any place that wraps that console i made with pvc ? The exact colour which is in Grand Livina's ? Nice cream colour one.  Reason i'm doing this is to custom make my own arm rest , pull in wires for my usb hubs (coming from the pc) , and my ipod controls (dual din HU) , and also AUX.

Fourth, POWER SUPPLY !!!      How guys ? I know that i can use a inverter but i dont want that as its too messy. Any idea to hook it up directly to the battery ? I'll be connecting a switch and a fuse to turn it off and protecting the pc.

And about the keyboard and mouse, i've already got a Mac keyboard with a Microsoft wireless mouse.

hi bro thanks in advance ya... now i'm looking 4 latest centrafuse.. but need to pay T.T dnt know where can find cracked 1 sobs... currently i'm using centrafuse 3.5v by they way.. bro is there any way to use car speaker 4 our car pc? temp i'm using altec lansing 2.1 speaker car acc ppl advise me to grab 1 preamp and 1 amplifier to make it work... is there any other way to use car speaker for our car pc? thanks for your advise ya bro

Ah, need to open up my centre console tomorrow .. it burning radio's fuse .. probably some loose wires .. used the same ignition wire to give power indicator to my PC and HDR.. now, my carpc couldn't switch on and radio pun sama .. aya... grr...
