There is a bug on Windows 7 regarding on new GPS system especially running on 232 protocol command which the windows regconise it is a serial mouse instead a GPS which created your mouse cursor runing everywhere because of the GPS data pooling... after i have spoken with Samhrutha from Mircosoft we found a solution.

Important: The instructions below contain steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information view the article in the Microsoft Windows help article: Back up the registry:http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Back-up-the-registry



i. Click on start

ii. In the search box, type in regedit

iii. Registry editor windows opens

iv. Navigate to the location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\sermouse

v. On the right hand side you would findstart

vi. Modify the value of the key to: 00000004

If you do not find the Start key then follow the below steps:

i. Right click on the blank space

ii. Select on the option New

iii. Click on dword 32-bit value

iv. Rename it to start

v. Right click on the key and select and modify

vi. Feed in the value: 00000004

vii. Restart the computer



Now connect GPS through USB and also with serial USB adapter and check the results.

Err, @LM, go upgrade to 3.6 la .. so nice and so responsive .. oh, I've never tried CF2 before, so no idea how is it compared to the older release. But CF3.1 sucks for sure ..

2D is dual core.... if u see in precessing thread it should had 4 threading.... if urs is no 2D it should only have 1. Performance side lotsa different..
