The china ones is RM100 but without shipping + if you have any issue you need to send back the stuff for warranty etc etc and it will cost more! dont forget the tax hehe..

The mini-box m2-atx is produced in China and I guess they reverse engineer and come up with cheaper version. According to Chris from mocoso, the quality is the same. So you might want to try your luck there.

Steven, do you have problem with USB connection in your setup? It seems that everytime I added new things, all my connection went haywire .. in the weekend, I put in a USB hub with a thought of extending the USB ports so I could use my broadband & usb drive, but somehow, the X-cross cliptech hub doesn't have enough power to power up the modem.. and somehow this messing up everything.. I don't know much about win7, but is there anyway that we can fix the port number? Ah, the bluetooth suddenly went offline too and I need to disconnect & reconnect for the system to recognise it.

better go for latter since gt warranty~lolz..

The RM400, if this warranty is RTB, you'll screwed up with the shipping cost still ..

wat is the difference of the value of Watt for the M2-ATX ah?
i saw some are 160W..some are 140W..etc..

The 140W is I think the HV => High Voltage which caters a range 6-32V (truck or marine batteries) ..

u use too long cable and not all usb hub can be used in the car! use USB extender or u wanna to try my DIY USB RJ45 extender? it works pretty well!

so far i think the best MB is still Intel D945GCLF2D becoz it boot very fast and so far my PC did not hang before.

You surely need the power supply to run your HD too, err.. how about graphics card and probably some other USB peripherals .. 160W is I believe quite alright for Atom based motherboard .. but I've no idea if Atom with stock Intel GMA could play movies smoothly. I'm using Zotac IonITX-F-E and it seems could take few things throw to it .. playing movies while recording/encoding divx from webcam @ svga resolution..

2gb ram is more than enough! my fren running the M2ATX on the Zotax with Quad core + 2 HDD without any issue! somemore Running 1 Webcam + USB GPS + USB ADS radio

you also can see my car running on Atom very smooth! no hang for a year edi! just start and drive like normal HU!

It seems that shutting down the system, disconnect all the power .. reconnect all the USB cables while booting up seem to solve the port gone haywire for my setup. Probably since I've never actually took the power out of the unit, each USB ports are actually active and there probably an assignment conflict between them when I remove/reconnect my USB devices. Anyway, need to work on the carpc today, the webcam quality worsen when I changed something, so need to reinstall the driver.

One thing that I'm still need to find a solution for is the wifi, when I parked outside my house, my iphone could detect and connect to the router but the carpc can only see it but not connect to it. Probably the tiny antenna doesn't help much.. Steven, do you use external antenna for wifi or you don't really use wifi? The shark fin antenna at mp3.com cost a bomb on the shipping .. but it seems could be the only solution.. any idea?
