QUOTE(wiraone @ Oct 27 2010, 02:41 PM) Steven, check this guy out .. he said his FM reception is as good as the DAB .. he said that he soldered the FM adaptor to the DAB module .. Yeah thats is what i did before i went to Italy. What i did is i switch the DAB socket to the FM and hook it to my HDR system... it worked perfetohttp://forums.fluxmedia.net/carpc-related-....html#post79446 Haven't test this out .. but hey, got HDR with better support, so, I'll stick with it for now. Need to repair the mast .. no idea how to though.. will weld it back solve my problem? |

QUOTE(shaunk86 @ Nov 8 2010, 10:43 AM) Anyone intend to let go their Craig Radio pls let me noe ya =) you need to create a foil box to insulate the card from freq distortion... hahahah craig card i think most of us will keep because we bought at discount price and waited like hell hahahaha.... later the card price goes up edi..... but try HD radio... it works greatThis is wat i tried: [attachmentid=1873983] Found an old K-World tv tuner card laying in my drawer which spots a Conexant 878 chip. Tat chip is compatible with the Radiator radio interface in centrafuse 3. Works perfectly in my room with clear FM reception just by using a coil antena, however when i move it to my car..aih.. langsung cannot tune to any radio station....any thoughts? =s Added on November 8, 2010, 5:11 pmAhhhh If any of you interested in ADS radio which supported by Centrafuse please let me know because i know Malaysia Distributor... The Radio quite clear too ![]() ![]() ![]() It uses Silabs chip inside.... The price should be around RM160~180 This post has been edited by mxsteven: Nov 8 2010, 05:16 PM |

QUOTE(wiraone @ Nov 10 2010, 08:05 PM) Checking centrafuse forum, many are having problem with silabs chip, when bench testing the radio, everything seems to be perfect but once they moved the radio to the car, reception is really really bad. Many are suggesting to go for HDR which can be found sometime on ebay for around USD$30-40 before shipping. Yo Bro,Anyway Sifu Steven, need help .. why sometime when coming from hibernate, I couldn't control the radio.. happen quite a few times already for me. I've no idea if this is Win7 or Centrafuse problem .. I've set the config in centrafuse to reset audio on wakeup. Another thing, I do sometime found that when Centrafuse wakes up from hibernate, it goes to mute mode. Annoying sometime ... Does older Centrafuse having the same problem too? Added on November 10, 2010, 8:08 pmOh BTW, I'm on SSD now .. 64GB Kingston V series .. speedwise during bootup, not much different from running off the Hitachi 7200rpm that I've but I don't need to worry about going on bumps now My CF2 had no problem on this at all maybe it is the BIOS setup.... Check the Com parameter on power management in BIOS. The ADS radio so far so good... it is clear but the problem is software interpolated control where there will be a bit lagging when u switch channel unlike HDR instantaneous... |

You can wired to ACC or Ignition or if you want to have a better setup you can run the power from the PC with a drive relay from the PC (PC PSU activated relay powered from direct 12VDC) or Remote power

QUOTE(wiraone @ Dec 22 2010, 04:43 PM) For my carpc, seems to be working alright now .. but last few days, the pc decided to switch back on after I turn the ignition switch off .. probably the big keyboard that I've near my door which I always hit when I tried to get in and out of the car sad to know u become the victim again..............Added on December 22, 2010, 4:45 pmOh .. latest centrafuse should be available this week .. Added on December 22, 2010, 4:46 pmOuch.. they've delayed it once again .. "As for the final release of 3.2 - we're now targeting mid-January to have a solid stable and polished release for everyone. " Added on December 25, 2010, 4:30 pm Rebellium 4 - Happy Hollidays! TempGP team wishes happy holiday season to you all! On this pleasant note we would like to tell you that we just released Rebellium 4™. You can go get your copy from www.tempgp.com To keep the story short, main advantage of R4 release over R3 is that our new plugin uses map space much more efficiently than previous version. R4 now well supports 800*480 resolutions and if we needed can even add smaller resolutions. We also added support for external txt displays so you directions can be outputted on external display in text format. Another nice thing that was improved is detection of voice direction duration, so we will pause music for as much time as it is needed to pronounce your directions. And yes, ATT Mute is now supported too! One thing you have to keep in mind is that Rebellium 4 is now designed to work with new Garmin Mobile PC 5.0.70. So before you test new release, make sure you upgrade your GMPC. (For reference R3 only worked with GMPC up to 5.0.60) More info about Rebellium 4 can be found on our homepage: http://www.tempgp.com/dynamic/?page=3 More from TempGP Besides release of Rebellium 4, we have few more products that you might be interested in! Those new products are: - GA-NET+ femto kit - NYC Side Parking Rules App for iPhone & Android GA-Net+ Femto - Honda & Acura Buttons / Joystic / Touch Adapter ![]() Honda & Acura carPC enthusiast! GA-Net+fempto is a must have device for your Acuras and Hondas! QUOTE(zDarkForceSz @ Feb 8 2011, 04:30 PM) sifu, can pm the the hardware that needed to build a car pc? ehem hardware....or the hardware you're currently using. i gonna build one. where to get touch screen lcd? 1st what u gonna need is; 1x Touchscreen Monitor 1x DC ATX PSU (M2ATX or M4ATX) i think M2 is ok unless you using i7 or quad core or many many HDD. 1x PC done Remember you also need poweramp to amplify your sound or use your car player aux to supply the sound(if there is aux) The rest is software... you can either use Ride Runner (RR) or Centrafuse (CF) RR is free where CF is licence software. for radio you can have Directed HD radio module from ebay or Visteon (both are the same) but if you running on aux with ur oem head unit... u dont need the radio module as ur car player edi have. others like GPS receiver you can source from mudah.my The touchscreen you can either get from ebay or from 1 industrial supplier in Puchong but i dunno he has the stock or not... the monitor cost about RM850 is not mistaken and the M2ATX about RM400 |
