QUOTE(l4nc3k @ May 31 2019, 09:08 AM) A bit confused on how this credit card cycle works. So lets say that my statement is always on the 11th of any month. On May 12th, I cleared my previous month balance and used RM1k for May’s 10% cashback. Can I still use the ‘last minute trick’ to only spend RM500 for next month’s cash back or it doesn’t work that way? I always thought that the cashback quota resets after every statement. Thanks in advanced. Yes, you can provided transactions will be posted in next month. Cash back is based on calendar month for all MBB cards.

QUOTE(Kelv @ May 31 2019, 06:50 PM) What's the issue with AF then? MBB strictly has no AF waiver, if fulfill the spending requirement then will be waived automatically.

I know Shopee is same day posting, I'm wondering if I transact at close to 12 will post on next day? Does anybody know?
My BP already maxed out, I wanted to reload my Boost but suddenly need to pay something around 500 on Shopee, thought of using for that instead.

QUOTE(Assclown @ Jun 6 2019, 04:05 PM) Hi guys, I've got a question on Visa Signature's annual fees. My card got approved last year in June. The expiry month is Feb. Is it correct to assume that the 2nd year's AF will be charged in Feb2020? And is the annual fee waiver spending calculated from Feb2019 - Feb 2020? Yes.

QUOTE(alvinfks78 @ Jun 7 2019, 09:47 AM) if apply at card centre 1 U if got 3 months slip and saving accounts with Maybank need to bring: Latest 6 months' savings account activity/current account statement? Latest BE form with official tax receipt (overpaid so no tax receipt)- tax refund letter? If you have EPF contribution every month, don't need to bring anything. They will print EPF statement using the machine.

QUOTE(missboo @ Jun 11 2019, 02:14 PM) May I ask if I already have Maybank Islamic Credit Card (petronas), am I allowed to have Maybank Barcelona? I read somewhere before that if you have a conventional credit card, your application for islamic credit card will most likely be refused. Is it the same for vice versa? You can have. Banks have discretion to approve or reject. Many of us have cards from both entities.

QUOTE(Tigerr @ Jun 13 2019, 09:59 AM) With the Annual total spending or AF add in. The total rebates will no longer become 5%. Well, if someone can spend to waive AF, I don't think they will bother the % if AF is already auto-waived.

QUOTE(skty @ Jun 23 2019, 01:32 PM) I give hints ya. Bank wants to earn more from late payment interest. It's not just e -wallet, banks want to earn interest from any expenses since day 1 CC was introduced into the market. Nothing new about interest la.
