so in another words the cash back is based on posting date and not transaction date as my trascation date is on 31 aug?
*
cashback cap/amount is based on posting date.

you gotten higher cashback % rate only because of transaction date in Aug.

Whatever shown as outstanding? Should be RM950 shown there, no?
*
not necessary can always use "outstanding" because user may have other new charges too (unless he/she always want to clear outstanding amount) biggrin.gif

just pay current statement balance [minus] payment/cashback received.

The highlighted mean? If Autopay eligible?
*
highlights are new addition/changes compared to previous release.

the ezypay, I reckon it follows m2c amex whereby installment gets cb for full amount, but not monthly installments.

perhaps someone can try biggrin.gif

How to use amex for FPX? I thought FPX only thru direct debit from CASA?
*
read and search "fpx" in m2c thread. caveat: not all accepts fpx.

I only got my card in June, however the expiry date is October, and I am charged the SST this month. Is this correct? Can I dispute?
*
based on MBB's charging logic, should be charged by 15 October November (based on expiry on Oct).

If like this not so fair right if only having less than a year? unsure.gif
My case is I'm luckier because my card's expiry date is April though I got my FCB VS on last year's Oct. laugh.gif
*
that's the problem with diff bank implementing different method of charging

lucky for 1 cycle only laugh.gif , once everything "normalized", all follows the same time anyway smile.gif

I was expecting my FCB VS to be charged in my latest statement, looks like it will not happen then.
*
PBB is also following expiry month

monitor Nov month, not this month.

This means if i buy a laptop, then convert it to Ezypayment installment plan, i will be receiving a cb for the full amount of the laptop but will not be receiving cb for installments that I have to pay later on right?
*
based on my understanding, yes.

havent seen anyone reported new updates because all these while, the T&C stated not eligible for ezypay (generally for any installment).

with the revised t&c, mbb stated specifically "not eligible for monthly installments", so that means full purchase amount would be eligible (to be confirmed by actual users)

So those transaction date at the beginning to middle of the "selected" month will have 10% and RM 100 cap, where at the end of the month, will have 10% and RM 50 cap la

*
for your "safety", answer is NO, not that straightforward.

since you can quote back Oct 2 posting, there are many posts regarding "10% get RM50 cb". do some reading there. try reading from Post #3826

Anybody has redeemed your Treatspoints for FCB Service Tax Fee?

Kindly be informed that we can only proceed with Service Tax Treatspoints redemption for Maybank 2 Cards Amex since Maybank Visa Signature Barcelona is a Cash Back card. Hence, you are required to pay the Service Tax fee for the said card. We seek your kind understanding on this.

Seriously? Mine will only be charged next year's April and plan to offset with TP as well. Now this news strikes. doh.gif
*
exactly. i just had a lengthy call with MBB CS. their stand is NO SST redemption for cards that doesnt earn TP doh.gif

took them sometime to dug out my voice calls cuz their CS previously confirmed otherwise. so, i disputed them having conflicting answers to customer laugh.gif

let's see how they respond back.

Agree, sometime it is the principle that make us feel like disputing..

TP exchanges to voucher is actually not useful to me as I force to go to those shop to spend, therefore,  I prefer redemption to cash..

Now I wonder, if my visa signature didn’t earn enough point, can I use m2platinum point to redeem for visa signature, as visa signature is cashback with TP feature card
*
based on my today's chat with CS, yes for MBB VS' sst redemption using TPs earned from other cards.

her point was redemption is only allowed for cards which can earn TP.

i brought up this specific point to her whereby i was told redemption can be to ANY cards, even FCB VS which doesnt earn TP.

i dug out my call records (date/time), and CS called me back this afternoon. she managed to dug out the exact call record made from CS -> me (callback confirmation). now they are reviewing the call chat it laugh.gif

darn, i managed to rake up 40k TPs now, just enough for 2 maybank cards (m2c amex + fcb vs) SST redemption for the next 2 years.

if i can only redeem for m2c amex, i would have excess TP which going to expire after 3 years. vmad.gif

MBB called again. thumbup.gif

after reviewing my voice call records @ 4 Sep, they confirmed the answer given was correct, given by their management, at that time.

only by mid-Sep, the new policy was determined (no redemption etc etc etc)

now, because of the discrepancies on the policy, they are bringing this up to their management/card center dept to review again.

my argument was that their TP redemption has always been applicable to all MBB cards, regardless of features. now, with FCB VS, they somehow put an exception with the reason of "no TP feature". doh.gif

anyways, MBB cs said would call back again next week if there are decision made and their stand on the redemption policy for FCB VS.

they could've just brush me off and said management's decision is final.

they still re-considering the policy, which is quite surprising, but very much appreciated if they willing to hear from customers. thumbup.gif
