Annual fee waiver need spend RM50k per annum?
My card was approved July 2016.

Just now I check the annual fee waiver with Maybank Customer Service, they told me need spend RM50k since my card was approved before December 2016.

Does it means I should cancel the card first and apply again?
I use this card for petrol and grocery only. All the rest spending was on 2 card premier.
It's impossible to hit RM50k per annum but still got chance to over RM30k.

I read this on ringgit plus. Did anyone try to use this service before? Or does it even exist?

Applied may bank master ikhwan via maybank2u, give visa signature.  worth to keep?

Btw does the cash back apply to the supp card as well for Petrol and groceries? I know for both cards the cap is surely shared @ RM88

and also the annual 30,000 spending is accumulated from both cards?

Would you happen to have this statement verified by MBB, T&C or anything? I can't seem to find anything on their website on principal and supplementary combined spending if equates or more than RM50k, to get a waiver.

hi all, im back with this card. but the new card number appear in m2u system macam tak sedap

For PBB i applied the entry class classic gold card two years ago with the objective of 0% BT.
And then i apply PBB quantum ,no hassle, approved straight, but of course i'm not entitled for any gifts.
However i did get a Samsung handphone that time for new registration.

I got my PBB VS eventhough my annual salary when apply still <rm100k. Maybe because I have my housing loan with them so they approved it.

Want to ask. I have been pumping petrol using my signature. However there is no cash back. I wondering why. Anyways do you guys know when they will credit the cash back after pumping petrol? End of the statement date?

As when i called to customer service/IVR, it prompt me an option for "Request Fee Waiver"

8 months ago. but lately i kepoci their terms only reliaze they had lowered the spending requirement for waiver. I mai give it a try again.

Given that Amex is back with the 5% cash back now. Even without the VS card, it is not really a big deal anymore. VS is once popular becos of the free lounge access but it has no more. And it was popular because Amex 5% was gone previously too.

What other purpose? Mind to share share. 

Cancel the card, reapply for another name.....since from 1 Jul, all transaction with PIN.
The Embossed name on card use abbreviation, example Peter Lee Kah Sing, u can ask to print "KS Lee" instead of full name.

Yes, bank needs IC for application.  Since he feels that RM50 card replacement fee is high, he just need to  submit a new application of other family members and give the card to the person he want to share.

My suggestion as below:

1. A's card missing.......cancel iy
2. Use B (also family member) to apply new supp card
3. Get the new card and pass it to A continue to use......no signature, just PIN 

I was not charged for the second year. Now third year. They charged me with the AF. 😡. Requested waiver but no waiver given so far. Already 1 week. Can we cancel this card by phone?

Guys - new to this card, does the cashback apply to utilities as well? Eg. Maxis, Astro, TM etc etc...I thought it did but cannot find it in the TnCs now. Thx in advance.
