Mydebit uses PayNet network, not Visa or Mastercard network. There are merchants out there who flatly refused to accept credit cards because of the higher fees, even if their terminal are capable.
*
so far i never encounter such merchants that have the terminal but refused debit/credit card transaction, if anything it's amex that some merchants do not accept.

nop
apple pay is not ewallet
so affin duo visa cashback doesnt apply here
*
apple pay is a service/medium for payment, whatever rebates/cashback tied to the cards are still valid with the bank.
it's not like when you added the card to apple pay, it becomes an apple card or something

I will try to make it on a list after a week as there are too many cards in Malaysia that need to test out..
Technically yes, but you may also wait for the Apple Pay logo appeal then only use your Apple Pay.
*
no need to wait for apple logo. why bother with the logo when it works the same without the logo?

once add in , there is no fully remove from their server
*
the website itself doesn't store sensitive data like your full credit card number cvv etc. otherwise it will fail the security checking.
the payment gateway that they use have it somewhere though

Convince them that by issuing virtual TNG card, they don’t need to manufacture the physical card yet can still charge customer with the same price.
*
they need to upgrade their payment system to support NFC first.
the NFC card just for top up via phone using NFC, they payment itself not yet support NFC.

nope. you can refer to soyacincau post.
"Because of Apple’s tokenisation technology to safeguard bank details and all payments require Face ID, Touch ID or passcode, Apple Pay can allow transactions for any amount without entering PIN numbers at all. This means you can use Apple Pay to make a quick RM1,000 payment from your iPhone or Apple Watch. The only limit is the permitted amount set by your bank. If you’re using a debit card, the purchase limit for Apple Pay will follow your set limit which you can change via your online bank app or website."

apple-pay
*
so in short, the max limit for contactless payment will follow the limit set by the bank or yourself. nothing to do with apple pay limitation.
similarly for contactless payment using physical card

Damn la i can’t post links. But there is a reddit thread that says it only works in buses, trains, etc. In countries that support it, using supported cards, and supported terminals. So I think it doesn’t work because it is very specific.
*
That one probably transit card. Express travel you can select any card from your wallet

Last time klia express can use paywave at the gate. So you can try if they’re still working

Petronas is probably pushing their customers to use Setel instead so there is less of a motivation for them to set up the acceptance of AMEX at their terminals.
*
doesn't make sense at all unless they no longer accept payment via card and can only use setel.
just because you cannot use amex you just blame everything else.

amex never been accepted at all merchants since forever that's why people ask first whether the merchant accept amex whenever they want to pay using amex unlike those paying using visa/mastercard
