rm100 processor will getting more powerful drool.gif
lets say with athlon3000 at rm100, pair with 8500gt for rm300, with some cheap mobos and RAM, whoa.. HTPC is the future rclxm9.gif if only we can get better torrent speed sad.gif

And I wonder... can quad core work with Gigabyte GA-965-P-DS3??

Well... at least I know my mobo can support Quad now...

usd266 ~less teh rm1k, intel core 2 quad able to run on ds3, no need to worry...

OIC...... bad timing huh? Anyway, E6600 also not bad mah althought by 22nd July it is going to be cheaper! Why not buy 2nd cheap cheap proc then can sell off later when price drop? biggrin.gif

fyi, that quadcore Q6600 might seem mighty value at rm1k. but

1. do you need quadcore?
2. it's not a proper quadcore architecture, just two conroe slapped together
3. it's cheaper cuz new penryn will replace it
4. it's hot. ask those using quadcore.

option1: buy a cheapo used pentium D from garage sales to serve u for 22 days, then buy the quad core
option2: buy e6600, and wait one day where quad core will be in rm500s range wink.gif
