ICAEW la. It's more prestigious and well recognized in the UK and MNC's.

Ultimately, a lot of things depends on your attitude and working experience but ICAEW will give you an edge over all the other fresh graduates, which is all you can really ask for. In the past, ICAEW articleship was only available in the UK, so you're lucky if you have a chance to do it here, now.

Of course, you better make sure you're good enough to pass all the exams, cos ICAEW is definitely more difficult and demanding than ACCA. Most of the people taking ICAEW are usually close to being the top of their class, be it from accounting, engineering or other fields. So you'll be competing with them...

Do u still get exemptions if u take ICAEW? If ACCA u get exemptions for the papers that u have already covered in your BA. Last time uni mate have to take ICAEW from stratch after getting 1st Hons BA in Accounting and Finance

Can't really advise on this bro. Cos I have limited knowledge about icaew.

But u're right, lots of people have acca nowadays. Some go straight acca after spm too (skip degree).

Maybe u can have a look at jobstreet, does employers prefer acca or icaew? Or if u plan to work overseas, does that country prefer acca or icaew?

ICAEW brah.

If you don't mind me asking, what bachelors degree enables you to claim full exemption for both ACCA and ICAEW?
