Yea, many choices but limited choices for my budget tongue.gif

My MAS ticket is RM943.90 all in/pax (including selected seat), which was booked in April. Quite a good deal I think. Yea, their hotels mostly are very small unless we go for the 700 and above. Many good one sold out already for New Year, should have booked earlier cry.gif

You haven't book your flight ticket ah?
*
Have not book flight lol.. for room suggest if you have not decide book those free cancelation room 1st.. you can cancel if found better deal.. but room price has been increasing weekly..

Day 6 (29th Dec)-Thurs
9am -Depart from HK Ferry Terminal to Macau Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal (nearer to Senado Square)
10.10am - reach Macau, go to hotel (TBC), put luggage
Take free shuttle bus to Grand Lisboa Hotel and walk to Senado Square.
11am-2pm
1) Tai Lei Loi Kei pork bun
2) Ruins of St. Paul’s
3) Wong Chi Kei Noodle & Congee Restaurant  @ Senado Square
4) Pastelaria Koi Kei
Ah Ma Statue
2pm  Check in hotel
3pm  Take shuttle bus back to Jetty and take venetian free shuttle bus to Venetian
3.30pm Reach Venetian Hotel, very large shopping mall, casino and hotel, just walk around to shop
1) Lord Stow’s Bakery
2) Chines Da Barran
3) Macau Tower
4) Dancing water show

Another option to go from Senado Square to Venetian Macau, you can save sometime by taking the shuttle bus to City of Dream directly instead of going back to jetty.

Walk from Senado Square towards Sintra Hotel along the main road heading toward Grand Lisboa. The shuttle bus stop is the corner of Av. de Dom Joao IV, opposite Praca Da Amizade. Check out Google map for this location.

The shuttle bus will make a few stops along the way and end up in front of City of Dream. Just cross the road to Venetian Macau. Another option is to take shuttle to Galaxy Macau near Senado Square and walk to Venetian Macau.

Item 3 on Macau Tower is a bit strange since it is located at the mainland instead of Taipa area. Don't think you have time to go back and for. Unless you are referring to the new mini Eiffel Tower in front of Parisian Macau hotel. It is just a short walk from Venetian Macau. Go there around evening to see the light show from the mini Eiffel Tower.

The House of Dancing Water show is at the City of Dream complex so plan to go there before the show starts (at 8pm) and you can walk from Venetian Macau which is a short walk, and then take the shuttle back to mainland area.

Have fun.

Hi guys, I am going to HK this Dec (X'mas until New Year), first timer to HK. I have prepared the itinerary as below, could you guys give some comments? Thank you!

Day 6 (29th Dec)-Thurs
9am -Depart from HK Ferry Terminal to Macau Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal (nearer to Senado Square)
10.10am - reach Macau, go to hotel (TBC), put luggage

2) Ruins of St. Paul’s
3) Wong Chi Kei Noodle & Congee Restaurant  @ Senado Square
4) Pastelaria Koi Kei
Ah Ma Statue
2pm  Check in hotel
3pm  Take shuttle bus back to Jetty and take venetian free shuttle bus to Venetian

Hey~ For your HK Day 5, don't forget to take a ride on the Mid-Levels Escalator to see all of Central in one go.

For Macau, why don't you stay in affordable hotels near Senado Square? E.g. Best Western Sun Sun, Ole London Hotel, Home of Macau (the one I stayed in - rather big twin room, affordable price, no breakfast). From the Ferry Terminal just take the Sofitel Ponte 16 purple shuttle and walk to any of these three hotels.

I am also a little confused - will you be visiting the Ah Ma statue on Coloane or Ah Ma temple on the mainland close to Barra Square? And yes, like the previous poster said your itinerary for Macau seemed a little bit ambitious haha.

Bro, I checked the Airport Express bus route too, but it seems that A21 bus is more convenient. Coz by Airport Express bus i need to change to another shuttle bus and walk 3 mins compared with A21 which is only 1 bus and walk 1 min only. Hard to walk in a fast paced city while dragging your luggage sweat.gif

BY Airport Express
(1) Take the Airport Express to Kowloon Station
(2) Take the free shuttle K4 and Get off at Park Hotel
(3) Turn right and walk on Chatham Road South (walk about 3 min)
(4) Turn right to Hart Avenue, the hostel entrance is in Union Mansion (Hostel entrance is on Hart Avenue)

Yea, Avenue of Stars is closed until 2018. I will watch the light show from TST Promenade, as mentioned by someone here.

I will be flying with MAS, you? How many days will you go there this time? You must be quite familiar with HK since you have already went twice before. Haih..Hotels in HK are so FREAKING EXPENSIVE mad.gif I have already booked for the first 5 nights, but the Macau and 30th-1st Jan one (HK) I haven't book. Limited choices + too expensive. But, I'm surprised to see Macau Hotel and resort are quite cheap, like 300+ can get a very good hotel ady. Or maybe after browsing the super expensive hotels in HK, suddenly I feel Macau hotels really cheap..Lol

macau casino hotel is not cheap~

the hotel near st paul ruins cost around hkd500

Morning TBC
3.15pm  TST --> HK Airport
4.15pm  Reached Hong Kong Airport
7.15-11.20pm 4hr 5min HK Airport - KLIA

I don't know if all hotel offer this but when I was in Hong Kong last month, I noticed my hotel (Ibis) offer discounted Airport Express ticket from HK Airport Station to HKIA. The usual one way price is HK100 but the hotel sell it at HK80. You pay the hotel and they will issue a voucher which you exchange for a one-way ticket at HK Airport Station ticket counter. If you have more than one person travelling together, you can save some money on the return trip.

The mid-levels escalator is nothing too special actually haha, it is just the world's longest outdor escalator. Can skip this if your schedule is too packed

And yes, the revised Macau itinerary looks better now. But just curious why you are spending like 3 hours in the Macau Tower haha.

Oh, and if you like casino hopping, do check out the newly opened Parisian as well as the Studio City next door. Do also check out the free dancing fountain show (every 15 minutes at night) and dragon of fortune show (every 30 minutes) at Wynn - walking distance from Grand Lisboa.

Have a great trip ya smile.gif

Just a few notes on the itinerary:

1. You can walk from Galaxy Macau to COD. There is a pedestrian bridge that link to COD. It would take less time to walk then to wait for the shuttle bus!

2. Galaxy Macau has it own shuttle bus to Senado Square. It destination is called "San Ma Lo" in Galaxy Macau shuttle bus schedule. Take it to go back to the hotel instead of going to COD. It stop at about two blocks away from Senado Square. If you want to reconsider your schedule, you may want to take the shuttle bus from Galaxy Macau to San Ma Lo and cover Senado Square first. Then continue with the rest of the itinerary.

3. You can also walk from Galaxy Macau to Venetian Macau. The distance is about 8 minute short walk (based on my walking speed smile.gif

4. The Tai Lei Loi Kei main branch is closer to Taipa Village then to Venetian Macau. However, they do have an outlet at the food court in Venetian Macau. Your choice to try it while you are at Venetian Macau or make a trip to its main branch.
