same thing there in japan eh.
in most western countries they actually wait for you to cross the pedestrian crossing even after it turns red.

good thing you walked away because most probably you get sembelih already.
*
i know the expected price, i'm just lazy to even ask
since got lala mart and lotte mart

but if you're buying ginseng, thn u got no choice....cheaper at namdaemun market

QUOTE(windvind @ Mar 4 2020, 08:41 AM)
For point number 19, Homeplus, E-mart, Lotte mart and Costo are closed on 2nd and 4th Sundays. They have a 52 hour maximum work week per month introduced by their government for work life balance.

I think one of the app that you really need is KakaoMetro there is an english version and super helpful, its even more useful than google maps.

Not only ginseng chicken but also bbq pork / beef also has a 2 person minimum serving. Even if you are 1 person, you need to order 2 person serving.
*
well, i was there on a sunday of the 4th week
the lotte mart at jamsil is closed for like a month until 29/2 when i was there

their metro don't really need app, pretty easy to navigate...their metro is normal type where 1 line goes back and forth the same place unlike japan ones where 1 track serve multiple track going different places
equipping both naver maps and google maps is because some place appear in google maps but not in naver maps and vice versa

for BBQ, i'm still fine because its just meat
but ginseng chicken, on top of the already big portion chicken...there are glutinous rice on the bottom which is way too big portion for me
and i don't even eat rice anymore laugh.gif

Is it better to buy travel sim from Shopee or to get the travel sim at Incheon airport?
Are the travel and esim from Lazada or Shopee reliable ?
*
get something before u reach there is a better option
i bought from lazada and shopee before for thailand...works fine

else try klook...also have option to pickup at incheon airport(also depending your arrival time and whether the counter still open)

Hi Sifu,

I'm planning to take vietnam airline to Seoul and there's a layover of 20+ in Vietnam Ho Chi Minh airport.

Does anyone know whether I could leave the airport and check into a hotel near the airport?

On top of that, I'm planning to visit Jeju island for 5 days 4 nights.

Any recommendation on which part of Jeju to stay?
Planning to rent a car and the Jeju trip is 3rd week of December.
Is it snowing by then?

Thank you.
*
u can leave the airport to visit vietnam

2 things

1. not sure true or not, to get free T-money card, head to exit E(not sure where) and fill up a survey(i saw this from XHS)
2. buying arex express ticket from klook/kkday is no longer worth it, it's now RM31

I left ‘surname’ as blank
And my full name under ‘given name’

Approval appeared as aaaaa bbb aaaaa bbb instead of just aaaaa bbb

that's weird
maybe u can ask them back instead...there is a "ask us" button below the website

Hi Hi Dear Shifus, may I reconfirm that;

1. K-ETA is not required for elderly above 65 years old and younger kids though Malaysians?

2. Q-code is not required

Thank you.
*
k-eta website got mentioned already
17 and below and 65 and above no need K-ETA, just need to fill in the immigration form at the airport before going through immigration

u can of course apply but not worth paying the RM37...that money is better spent on a meal

Hi

I would like to check with all the sifu, should i pre book the airport train? what is the price different without pre book?

Thansk
*
express vs all stop
express 9500 won vs all stop 4750 won
if u buy via klook or kkday now, it doesn't seem seem worth it compared to last month
they recently increase price until it's only very slightly cheaper

if saving that little bit of money matter, thn buy it online then

QUOTE(M_Shahrul @ Nov 8 2023, 03:55 PM)
Genuine question. Is it okay, if I just bring KRW300,000 in Seoul and Nami Island just for 5 days?

Mostly I plan to use my credit card and BigPay card. Could I survive there in the middle of Seoul?

I hate using physical cash by the way. What a headache.

And can I topup T-Money card by using a Visa / Master?
*
just being your card there
many restaurant, cafe like mega coffee have kiosk that u can use your card to pay for your order
certain places doesn't even have a counter, every order has to be made via kiosk and pay via card
