My phone is ever ready for them to call, hopefully they won't call when I'm on assignment in India... Can upgrade but I can't enjoy the speed yet. sad.gif

The story is this...last week, my voip phone had some terrible noise in it, both in coming and outgoing and at time, cant hear the voice from the other end...vice versa.

As usual called TM, standard SOP, reset from TM end, reboot router/modem. All was well, phone back to normal.

2 Days later, checked my speedtest....sigh now capped at 28Mbps....called them up had no answer as usual, as long as its within the SLA.

hmm.gif Once a while I do receive. I just checked my settings in OCC UniFi, it showed my TM mailing list was unticked. Just ticked and saved not sure if that will help.

Actually takkan didn't subscribe to that then won't be upgraded, that will be unfair.

hmm.gif Then that's strange. Don't bother first. If they don't upgrade mine, be prepared for my escalation to MCMC. biggrin.gif I really don't see why I will be excluded.
Let's see if the email will come later.

Now not in country, so won't call them to check why I didn't receive the email, give them till I go back this weekend.

Useless? You sure? Have you tried? I had few escalations via them and all solved well. One of them is UniFi issue. Why should they scared of TM? They have been issuing summons to all telcos.

Anyway, I have been receiving consistently for all TM Takeout emails except for this important email it seems. Not sure if my recent relocation affects it. Will definitely check it out. smile.gif

Well, then follow up. Sometimes it is not MCMC issue, it could be from TM. Pressure MCMC to solve this. It needs two hands to clap.

These days they only give TP Link Archer C5 or D-Link DIR 850L. Both can work for Advance packages i.e. 30, 50 or 100.

Well, I thought you were asking for price reduction from RM 199 to RM 179 and give up on free calls. That's workable but well since you were asking to have free calls, then it totally depends on TM as this is not a standard promotion.

Two things here. 3G/H+/LTE has nothing to do with your UniFi package. It is two separate things. That depends on your telco package e.g. Maxis, Digi, Celcom and also your phone's capability if it can achieve LTE or just H+. Once you connect to your home WiFi, your data package will be stopped until your WiFi is disconnected. So, they are not related at all.

Regarding your network card, I can see it is quite an old one. Suggest you buy a better network card or USB wireless adapter. Else, I don't think it can achieve full 30Mbps.

Probably the next exercise is to standardize the pricing.
Honestly speaking, this is their marketing department's mistake, came out with different offerings and packages for different customers. Now let them taste it. laugh.gif

Yes, Xefron has already hinted us earlier before the announcement was out.

However, I didn't receive any email and the possibility I could think now is probably mine was from VIP 10 - RM 179 to Advance 30 - RM 199 and I complained after that for unfairness treatment towards soft launch customers. They reduced mine back to RM 179. Technically speaking I'm paying RM 179 before and currently but with higher speed. hmm.gif I hope they don't treat this as an upgrade and many of them are using the same package as mine.
