-is subscribed to VIP 5/10/20 or UniFi 30/50 (whatever the variants)
-the area can support the new upgrade speed
-not under special scheme when buying a new home with UniFi ready
-not a business customer
-no contract refresh
-existing UniFi 50 to 100 only may or may not need to change their CPE (BTU and RG) with no charges.

so my analysis is correct only decrease in price per Mb not packages for the year 2017.so no major decrease in revenue only lost of opportunity for TM.

The story is this...last week, my voip phone had some terrible noise in it, both in coming and outgoing and at time, cant hear the voice from the other end...vice versa.

As usual called TM, standard SOP, reset from TM end, reboot router/modem. All was well, phone back to normal.

2 Days later, checked my speedtest....sigh now capped at 28Mbps....called them up had no answer as usual, as long as its within the SLA.

Because i did received call from telemarketing which offered me upgrade to 30M-RM179. But only offer for 2 years.After 2 years resume back to RM199.

In my occ "I would like to be in the TM mailing list" is untick too...but i do received the thank you surprises email.

TM probably will said you are not included in its 'first phase' of the upgrade....

I tried to log a report regarding free call. MCMC said will solve it within 15days. But 20days hvnt solve yet... In the end, cant get free call.

hi. i'm planning to subscribe to advance 30. if they are going to upgrade to 50mb next year, will the router given by tm for advance 30 support the 50mb speeed? and how about other 3g devices?

I received email from TM but same setting show unticked in TM mailing list. Tried to tick but at the end still show unticked. Seems TM not accept amendment.

This upgrade exercise is so confusing.

Currently, not all customers are enjoying the same price under same speed.

There will be the scenario where your new upgrade package is cheaper ,same price or expensive than your previous one.

If cheaper good for the customer,if more expensive how ?

And.. Apparently there is a small clause with this free upgrade exercise. Those who has received any kind of upgrade in 2016 prior to this free upgrade "promo" are not eligible for the speed increase in 2017.

Yup, so if any of you got a free upgrade from vip5 or whatever to advance 30, something along those lines, you aren't eligible for anything else. That's what the customer service is telling me.
