Overall I am happy with the console, and the games whether Nintendo or third party. Looking forward to more of course.

I hope that Nintendo encourages and retains third party support which will be crucial in Switch remaining successful (avoid the fate of Wii which was successful then faded).

Personally, I do think price point should have been USD250 and not USD300.

Otherwise, totally looking forward.

Funny, the pre-order for Japan hasn't even open yet (21st January) while in the West it's mostly sold out on pre-orders.

Probably gonna order from Japan since its the cheapest;
US = $300 (RM1340+)
UK = GBP 279.99 (RM1515+)
JP = Yen 29,980 (RM 1180+)

Zelda running at 900p 30fps...very minor dips at times..on docked mode..dropped to 720p on handheld..same for the rest..

Mario kart running at 1080p locked 60fps..

splatoon 2 running at 720p locked 60fps

I read on reddit a guy said he tested zelda. Nintendo rep there said that zelda botw for switch will be 60fps. 30fps is the wii u version which is used at the demo. Final switch will be 60fps. Skeptical but will just have to wait and see

Impulse also opened pre order for Switch. It seems they also unsure if they can secure enough stocks..
