Hi, I went to a shop. tested the lens & camera.
My camera body is fine. Just the lens no longer usable.
I was told that to fix the lens costs about >RM1,000.

Any recommendation of lens to replace my kit lens?
I only do general shooting. Travel, group photos etc etc..

What's your budget like? If money no issue can go for the Olympus 12-100mm f4 or the Panasonic Leica 12-60mm f2.8-4

yes. olympus panasonic or sigma micro 4/3 lens

if you wan to get a kit lens go for the Pana, they are more durable.

Cheap kit lens 12-32mm and 35-100mm, both are very compact, or if you looking for only one lens to cover wide variety of focal length, 14-140mm is available too.

i joined the Olympus Photowalk in Putrajaya on July 8th, and got myself the 12-40mm last week. i traded in my 17mm f1.8, and i'm super satisfied with my new lens.

anyone joining the workshop/Photowalk on the 29th and 30th?

I can connect the wifi of my Olympus camera but I can't see any photo in the folder but remote control live works fine just cannot import photos. How to solve it?

If all your photos are RAW, you need to convert them to JPEG first.

looking for a lens for Lumix within the 50mm - 100mm range with f2.8 or bigger.

any suggestions?

Got my XZ-1 repaired, cost me RM108.12 include GST. Got warranty 6 months for the same problem.

looks good!
noise is still there but better than using kit lens for low light.
