I would like to ask my lens for EPL-7 had some problem. When I turned on my camera the LCD screen show blank but can view picture and the lens stayed out can't get in back. The shutter button can't press as well. It's the lens problem as I went to ask for help in the camera outlet and they change the lens and it works.

May I know how to solve it?
*
Still have warranty or not ? Sounds like contact issue ( not sure issue on body or lens ), usually take off lens and put back again solve it.

Anyone ever did self claim warranty from Olympus? I tried to contact Olympus via FB, but no answer just yet.
*
How 'self claim' ? Can visit their service center @ Kelana Square, fixed my flash battery door. Last time I PM them via Olympus Malaysia FB page, response quite fast.

hi guys need some advice, which one to choose?
Pana DC GF9k or Oly E-M10 II? about the same price
*
I guess depends on whether you're iphone guy or not, GF9 many new features to play with, not complicated. EM10m2 more conventional with view finder, but advantage = image stabilizer ( once you get used to it, cant live without it rclxms.gif )

not sure, my ig is adlc.lens  smile.gif
probably getting the 40-150mm next.
btw, anyone here using any third party battery for em-5 mark ii? mind sharing any good ones?
i'll be needing a few coz i'll be doing a 4d3n trip to mount rinjani in september.. kinda expensive to get a few of those ori batteries  sweat.gif
*
Followed back biggrin.gif

IMO, if you're planning to hold on to em5m2 for years, worth invest into ori/genuine batteries. Last time when I'm on em5 mark 1, I got extra ori battery as well as 2 China batteries, and those China battery only have about 50-70% of 'claimed' capacity ( or when compare to genuine ). In the end, I only keep 1 in my bag for emergency.

there's a reason why its much cheaper than an original for a reason  tongue.gif
but its a good buy for emergency situation. bought 2 wasabi brand and +- its 80% compare to original.
also it will degrade overtime. now feel like 60-70% then ding dong ady.
*
True to degradation also, mine from 70% fresh pair, few months later only can left 50% sweat.gif

I always try my best to get camera body deal that comes with free ori battery. When help friend shooting actual day, 3 ori batteries last me till 6pm only, dinner time need charging laugh.gif

aha, got it guys. will invest in the original batteries then, but dang they're expensive.
most probably will be using this body for a while until i can afford to upgrade
thanks for the input  notworthy.gif

how good is the discount from collecting points through olympusphere?
coz from what I see, the price on YL camera is much cheaper than oly eshop  hmm.gif
*
From what I compare,
Oly e-shop, after discount = market price biggrin.gif

Only useful when official Olympus shop had better offer ( extended warranty, free gift etc )

Can't resist on pen f design but the price expensive than em5 mk2..

What bout feature for both?
*
One big flaw for Pen F is lack of weather sealing sweat.gif With it, I think can justify the high price tag.
