Hi M4/3 forummers, I finally made the decision to venture into M4/3 realm after using Nikon D500 for 3 years. Main reason: Weight and size! May continue using it as I love the system very much, but prefer light weight when doing travel photography.

I bought a used EM1 Mk II body, now need lenses (and maybe x0.71 manual NF-M4/3 adapter) to shoot. I am considering the below used lenses for a start:

1) 12-40mm 2.8 Pro
2) 45mm f1.8
3) x71 Nikon - M4/3 adapter
4) 60mm Macro f2.8
5) 40-150mm f2.8 Pro (later?!)
6) Sigma 56mm f1.4
7) any suggestion? Samyang?

Anyone has any good condition pre-loved lens to let go, maybe we can have some nego about it? Or help to point me to any trusted KL/PJ vendor for M4/3 lenses?

Thank you

Wow. You got deep pockets. Versatile set-up there with the 12-40 and 40-150.

Which system did you come from before this?

1) Used Nikon D500 + 8 lenses for the past 3 years. Not changing, still using, when not travel.

2) When travel, it will be Oly trio + Viltrox pair Nikkor 50mm f1.8, Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 (wide angle)

Sorry, no big pocket, trying to avoid GAS, but enjoy shooting and making images, not "shooting photos", if you know what I mean.

@Wild Honey, e.g. Shot this with Viltrox/Tokina pair, Oly Dramatic Art filter I. With about 12mm wide angle, peaking, static subject, AF is not exactly crucial! (export the image with 60% JPEG quality, due to 4MB file size restriction)

well looks like you got everything covered there except maybe a portrait lens.
that being said better use the nikon for better portrait bokeh.

if i was you i leave the tokina at home and take the oly system with you.
you lose 2mm wide but save a lot of weight and space
the tokina 11-16mm is big and heavy....i should know. brows.gif

Since you have quite a bit of budget, can consider getting the Sigma 56mm f1.4. That is the lens I am eyeing for, my next lens after I get the 10-25mm. 😁 Well, you might want to consider start off loading your Nikon as the value is just going to continue to nose dive.
