the Pana version or PanaLeica version?

how's it compared to 12-35?
*
The normal Pana version, I don't think the Leica version is out yet right?
I like it more than the 12-35 because:

(1) It is lighter
(2) The longer focal length means I have more flexibility and is more of a general "carry-around"
(3) Controls flare much better

It is not as sharp as the 12-35mm if you blow the pictures up or do pixel peeping (and it will never be) but the advantages I listed above make up for it.
If you want the absolute best in pictures quality then maybe it's not the lens for you.
People say because it does not go down to f2.8, it's performance in low light is crappy.
I beg to differ, the photo below was taken in very low light and I barely had to do any touch-ups in Lightroom.

Kinda enjoying my new 12-60mm lens (price has dropped quite nicely).
Maybe it's just me but I like the extra focal length that I can get over the 35mm.

I really want 12-60 also, current 12-40 pro was not far enough. The new 12-100 was quite good eventhough it's f4 but the price sweat.gif

Anyone got the new flash from Olympus? I got the 600 and I really don't like it output... I still use my 580exii on my em1, seeing the new flash is same size as 580exii wonder how is it output.

Not yet out here, but US pricing 579USD cry.gif that's why I started looking at alternative like Nissin i60A or Di700A that's compatible with m43

And that's exactly why I think the 12-60 is perfect as the flexible walk around lens, because of it's focal range and the price.
Unless you do photography for a living, I don't think there is a need for 12-35mm (in that case might as well go full frame).
I got mine for $300 which is about RM900, a very very good buy in my eyes nod.gif

Been seeing EM1 II in action, and play a while. I'll said it's worth the money, just that may not what we normal user need. The super fast burst frame are impressive, tracking almost on par with high end DSLR also. Audio quality on video recording also really good.

Olympus holding a Touch and Try Event in KL this weekend and Penang the next...

I'm guessing they'll be accepting preorders for the EM1mk2 then? Although I don't have any hopes for the prices to go any lower than ~RM8.5k I really hope they throw in really good freebies for preorder customers unsure.gif unsure.gif

who's going to the Penang one?
