also Russia lost all marine engine capability because the manufacture located in Mykolaiv, Ukraine too.
other reason is after USSR separation, Russia or Ukraine has 30 year never built large ship (no money) all ship expertise & engineer already retire or dead.
so now they have to buy Mistraal to learn the modem construction of large navy ship. only advantage is Russia still have very good steel industry can produce high hardness steel to built Submarine, SPH and aircraft carrier. but without engine still problem for russia. that why Russia keen take back Ukraine, specially Mykolaiv city
as results Crimea join Russia, and Crimea capital Sevastopol is very important ship industry city like ship school, design, material, ship machinery, few shipyard built ship/Landing Craft. also aircraft & helicopter industry。

i don't think is china is worry so small ship make to Malaysia. even they not worry at all to sell as 4000 tons navy ship
consider there size and capability of there fleet.

i believe standard item just like usually navy use, like Navigation system by OSI WECDIS & 3D chat, Kelvin Hughes Navigation radar, MTU engine etc ....
and no issue integrate western surveillance radar. bcos new generation China made navy ship is compatible to Europian system, specially France radar. hopefully Thales NS100 radar will use. maybe about too much for USD 50mil ship.

Bangladesh Navy Durjoy class is a class of large patrol craft (LPC)。made by china wuchang shipyard。。。close to LMS spec。 64.2 meter。

Geographic environment & thousands of islands make pirate easy to escape and hide in South East Asia, Melaka Strait, SCS, Java Sea. Celebes sea.

Somali pirate already make enough money pass few year, now with tide security & navy escort they will hard/stop to attack those commercial ship.
but if all country let off those escort,i believe those somali pirate will come back in 1-2 year.

Our shipyard not capable to built such size of Patrol boat for Navy/APMM ?

this APMM ship is getting Germany Fassmer shipyard as partner.
What is means our shipyard own design and construction on such small ship.
