next step, you can learn how to dismantle the fan blower and clean it.

check the cabin filter and clean the fan blower is only a fracton from airocnd servicing.

aircond minor service : flush old oil & gas can refill new gas & oil, replace receiver drier and expansion valve

aircond full service service : including the minor service, open dashboard to take out cooling coil, inspect and clean cooling coil, aircond filter, fan blower etc.

will know much more when i visit azbi centre, right now referring  from @cheelam aircond thread, azbi centre fb & experience from previos repair @ autohaus kl.

from my understanding, through my experiences as noob car owners, many not aware of car aircond service because of perception of car still new , aircond still cold so aircond still ok, and also some mechanic say to them, no need to service, got problem only come. Until one day their aircond is not in good condition, then only they will come ask why their aircond is not working.

Now my Saga FLX engine idle have 'tak tak tak' sound. When highway cruising let off accelerator rpm will went up another 500 rpm, then slightly step on accelerator then rpm drop 500. Anyone know whats the problem?

Each cylinder has same compression/pressure not? COP all ok? Any vacuum leak?
The replaced original rubber in 2015 last me 4y b4 i replaced it thinking it leaks but is the cam oil seal leak....
30-40k is ok. just if the transmission is not "tortured" in the sense of not doing those prohibited driving habits.
20k km interval the cvt fluid is still quite clean.
Those daily driver who stuck in traffic jam evday going to work are advised to change it max 40k km interval following the user manual.

Each cvt fluid change interval please do proper oil leveling and computerized adaptation. A MUST.
Some SKL foreman will say no need la, changed many proton car also no need to do la...it is because they dont know how to do it most of the case.

The max cvt filter interval that i delayed to change it is 120k km.

Saga flx plus 1.3 90,000km. Proton authorized service center just quote me price inclusive labour charge as below:

Waterpump = 220

So expensive meh?

Today it happen that I cannot lock my car using the remote. Each time I do that the alarm will trigger. All doors are closed tight so anyone know what's the problem? Alarm kong?
Also because of the alarm trigger I notice that the honk sound is not consistent anymore, sometimes got sound but very soft, sometimes it didn't sound.
Does the honk and alarm share the same component and how much it cost to repair? Do you guys just buy any china brand honk online?

Planning to get a Saga FLX 2015 (1.3AT) as a car here in malaysia. Basically a car that get me to point A-B and car that i can use to roam around KL on weekends.

Questions:
- There would be wear and tear since its a 2nd hand car. How much would it usually cost to change engine mount, transmission oil, brake fluid, Engine Oil, bushings? (Basically im planning to change things that should be maintained when getting a 2nd hand car)

- What flx model would be your recommendation?

- Trusted shop? Im around bangsar area.

- Can I still order from proton a stock steering wheel, front seats? (in case i decide to bring everything back in stock condition)

I got a 2012 flx, the car's gas tank is not able to fill in, the petrol gun keep jumping every few cents and i have to fill it super slow.

I saw some one mentioned it could be a charcoal canister clog up, i changed it but the problem are still the same.

i saw few youtube video mentioned it could also be a purge valve or vent valve, i try to search around and i could only found purge canister.

do you guys know our proton saga flx have vent valve canister?

if the purge canister faulty will it cause petrol filling issue?

yes, i did all the way to fill the petrol. it is confirmed the EVAP system issue, but this saga seem have lesser compartment in the EVAP system, i checked again the petrol tank, it seem it doesnt have vent valve canister, the hose also no block.

i have fill my fuel like that for many years, i asked many mechanic and many said not sure and want to check, quote me for few hundred to thousand. that's why i dont trust them and prefer to understand the evap system. i replace the fuel canister on my own and checked all the hose, but i still dont get a root cause.

what you mean with most of the way in, means just slot in the gun for 1 inch like that? if yes, that's how i did to fill as much as i can. if put the whole gun in, it click within a second when i pressed
