Guys, really need help here. I already change my front driver side bearing for 2 times already, and not even 3 weeks the sound come back.
Can suggest other thing that make it broken? Lower arm? Ball joint? Or any other thing? I only use the car in highway and didn't even hit any pothole...
the installer use machine press or hammer for bearing?. saga front bearings are a failure .goes bad faster than oil change when tightening back the wheel , use hand socket spanner not air tool. cannot too tight.

My BLM clocked 175k now, recently just changed the brake pad and disc brake rotor for 1st time ever.
Also changed were rear absorber to Wings + silicone buffer to stiffen the stock spring, front absorber to APM performMax couple with original spring. This combination just simply increase the comfort level as the car is less bouncing at uneven trunk road.

Rear drum brake making squeaking noise when brakes applied. Usually at low speed near to stop. My mechanic cleans the dust but after 2 hours later, it's back!
It's really annoying and does anyone manage to solve this issue? Been searching this thread for answer but only found others facing same problem with no fix to this.
So now every time I drive and near the traffic light, the Saga will be squeaking noise until complete stop. Sigh......

Can you update what you did recently on the drum brakes?
Do you remember how your drums look like? Are there scoring lines on the outer lips?
And what about the drum shoes? Are they still thick? Thick or not, I think you better try replacing the drum shoe with TRW or Bendix shoes, I mean I think that's better than paying your mechanic to do brake service only for it to make noise again. Should be ~RM100 alongside labour to replace the Saga drum shoes.

Brake pads are relatively new. But I guess it's the inner brake shoe that's causing it. Would try to give some suggestion to my mechanic on the next service to lub the side shoes.

And what about your drums? Do they have scoring lines like the video below? For the same amount of labour, I'd ask the mechanic to also install new shoes. They are probably like RM50-70ish.
