After changing my TCM, the acceleration feels sluggish compared to previously.  doh.gif Have to ask the SC to check again on my next service I guess...that's what I really don't like about SDAC, always need a follow up to clear up the issues.

Side note, anyone noticed the sales volume for Ford in the 1st quarter of 2017? 100+ passenger cars only in the 3 months tongue.gif

Have you updated your TCM before this?

Padan muka Ford, the Fiesta and Focus are more expensive then their competition. Who thr heck wanna buy Focus now when Civic and even Jetta is cheaper.

Don't laff at this mang, if Ford stop sales in Malaysia, we have nowhere to claim our warranties and such. Even if got, it'll be super duper strict. 1km over recommended service interval also can void. Change tayar? VOID! Using not stock bulbs anywhere? VOID TO YOU TOO!

The older TCM that went bust? Yes...

For this replacement TCM? According to the worksheet, they updated it as well.

Nah, they're still alive, I mentioned passenger cars, but the majority of their sales were for commercial vehicles. Basically they're selling more trucks/4WD or whatnot as compared to passenger cars.

Honestly, I'm put off buying any Ford cars in the future...next one would probably try one of the Jap brands back.

U ingat Sime Darby stupid meh. If they stop supporting existing owners even if Ford exit our market, who dare to buy their other cars like Hyundai?

Besides, Ford main volume seller here are their commercial vehicles. They have stopped selling non-Thai passenger CBUs, which is a good move considering their puny market share in the competitive B and C segments. Better to Focus (pun intended) their resources in moving the bread and butter models.

Hmm the latest TCM works well for me, maybe they didn't do clutch adaptation.

I have Japanese cars in my family also, after driving Ford I don't really have appetite for Sushis anymore, except the new Mazdas.

My next car might not be a Ford, but most likely it won't be a Sushi either, again maybe except Mazda laugh.gif

One last ride innocent.gif
mine's ecoboost variant, is urs a resonated catback or a different setup? hows the sound, is it too loud like a fart can eg. those straight piped satrias or nice with pops/crackles? planning to do at supercircuit, got quoted rm2*** (+gst, labour) for 1 resonator, muffler and exhaust tail.
Edit: does doing a catback and not messing with the cat/downpipe, still face any warranty issue?

Mine is the 1.5L, so not all of my results will be the same for you.
For the Ecoboost as a small turbo car, try not to cut your back pressure too much. I've done a full setup from manifold all the way to the tips, decat 4-1 extractor, tiny restrictive resonator (to regain some torque), Milltek muffler. So far so good, after quite the development with the exhaust shop, I got good sound, minimal drone and have a nice small fart. Pops and crackles only achievable at 1.5k RPM.

As for the warranty topic, I got nothing to say about it. Up to your luck, and the service advisor's discretion. If you want to go claim warranty, best is replace back your stock system before going to the SC
