the card ar way too long... dun forget when r600 out Nvidia sure got fight bak on the mid range card mayb another brandnew dx10 card,,, csz 7 month d lor... nvidia enginerr is working.. not taking free salary

lol, I just bought my 8800GTX for rm 2000++ and now this. I hope the R600 card don't totally destroy the 88gtx smile.gif

it will but not by much cool2.gif on the good side 8800 price will drop by 30% estimated when r600 is out which is good 4 average ppl like us rclxms.gif

I wouldn't be betting much on that. Mind you that with G81 due out soon, it might be a good excuse to mainatin premium prices

He means that the PCB is still shorter than the Geforce 8800s. Meaning it's still shorter, and only the blower is the one giving such an issue, which with a little modification doesn't seem too hard to make the card shorter than the 8800. Remember that the keyword here is the PCB.

A waste of resources man. Why because HDMI is desiged to be an all in one solution which can include digital sound, but why bother since most PC soundcard already have onboard DACs and some even have DSPs capable of decoding DD and DTS. Except for more flexible routing, i see no difference, not even on an electrical signalling basis. Although it would a great gimmicky option though.

That is the OEM version (and maybe not even a new version of it). Retail cards will be 9.5 inches long.
