No, it's not normal, ios 10.2.1 causing heavy battery drained

Surrounding me 99.99% using Facebook apps. I only got one friend not install Facebook apps as her phone (android) having too small capacity.

Facebook do eat battery and still the highest but I am keeping it, using web version is simply too difficulty. Haha

yup been mention long time in apple developer.. the minimum development to focus was ipod touch 6th gen and also iphone 5s .

So basically my iPhone 5 is going to be useless like it's running ios(iphone os) 1?

Unless apple so eager to remove old apps. For me apple dam annoying this part.

I also saw this in some news articles where it says that you won't be able to update your apps and also download new apps as they weren't compactible. This does bother me as I'm using iPhone 5 and won't be able to use certain apps if they discontinue the last 32 bit version of the particular app.

Yes been happening.. I bought a second iphone 4 ios 7 latest. When i try to download it said "You need at least minimum ios 8 " .. Seem it will become minimum ios 9 or ios 10 in next year after iphone8 in the market.
If android, minimum was 4..

My Suggestion,upgrade to minimum iphone 6 to enjoy apple pay (which ain't in malaysia yet) .. which not in 5s.. Apple seem like to force people to buy the overprice product.. ooops premium

I'm guessing that up to the developer to keep ios 7 support but at least you can download some apps which I'm currently experiencing as some apps requires iphone 5s or newer but now even worse if the news article is true then no apps are avalabile to be downloaded/ update including whatsapp

Well, this is business. Apple cant have people using their old iphones forever.

what to do, because it's premium people still using iphone 4 till now. and for other apple product a lot of due also..We will see how march event.. if need wait end of the year.. ades.

Yup. I remember that day when queuing at the gardens for so many hours just to buy it.

However aesthetics wise, IMHO the 4 is best looking from the rest. Its the right size, glass back, best colour retina screen. I still have mine and its just a basic phone now. If I could reinstall back to ios5, its better still.

Those were the days. The Iphone buying experience.

+1 Very true. But its getting slower each year. No more excitement like last time though. Or maybe we are already grown up.

if each 2 year launch premium okay.. IF they launch iPhone 8 when people still struggle to paid the iPhone 7 contract.. it will fall down of them.

In the end it just freakin phone, unless APPLE PAY supported in our country..Then excitement will come again..

And also if ios 11 . Eliminated the 4s,5,5c support.. Then people would start buy again.

Nowadays, majority Malaysian buy phones with contracts.

Tbh, 4s,5,5c cant really run on the latest IOS. The phones becomes damn laggy and unresponsive.

Two years is too long for a flagship launch, in fact new iPhone sales usually dip as early as 4 or 5 months after the launch. I imagine the sales would pick up the moment 5S becomes obsolete because many are still on the 5S as it is still a very capable phone.

Not sure if we'll ever see Apple Pay in this country though.
