Since we are the the topic of high CP Snorlax as defender, need sifu opinion on which Snorlax to power up

1) Zen + HB CP2058 IV40
2) Zen + EQ CP2019 IV55
3) Zen + EQ CP1847 IV77 (66 candies to lvl 30)
4) Zen + HB CP1228 IV87 (96 candies to lvl 30)
5) Zen + BS CP843 IV88 (106 candies to lvl 30)

I have Snorlax as my buddy now and have around 107 candies, i am tempting to power up candidate 4 and 5

i personally will go with lick+BS
but in ur case the really question is how much dust u willing to burn?

I have no issue to spend dust on these 2 elites (Snorlax & Lapras)

Just check i have the following for Lick Snorlax

1) L + BS CP1930 IV66
2) L + HB CP1884 IV48
3) L + HB CP1875 IV85

Any reason why u prefer Lick over Zen Headbutt for defending Snorlax?

I would say save the candies and catch more candidates.

My mistake was that i lacked patience and spent too much candies on zen earthquake. Now i dun even have enough candies to max my hyperbeam and buttslam

Forgot to add that the whole point of snorlax is as a wall to put off attackers.

With its normal typing, it can't be taken down with attacker thats 1000CP less (unlike D9 and Lapras).

As such, it makes sense to max its CP hence IV important to squeeze every ounce out.

Thought they would at least double the candy amount earned when walking a buddy for the current event. So yeah hopefully more candies during the next event.

I like Seadra, it has good moves like water gun, dragon breath etc, and hydro pump, blizzard etc.

wait till 2nd gen official, then u can evolve ur seadra to kingdra

Seadra CP low coz of the Horsea CP low... lol
If you get a 700 - 800 cp Horsea, the seadra can be between 1,500 - 1,800 cp. That's kinda good considering it gets another evolution to Kingdra in gen 2.
