Those pics are from google as examples only.

Mine shows hyper beam 120, earthquake 100 and body slam 40. Based on this numbers, the sequence is different from DPS ranking from websites :

Body Slam (25.64)
Hyper Beam (24)
Earthquake (23.81)

So which one is reliable?

These are calculations based on damage per second (DPS). A more thorough and logical calculations imo cuz it takes many factors in consideration such as Same-Type-Attack-Bonus (STAB), the animation duration of each attacks etc. Hence they come out with the DPS thingy like you found on those websites. I personally refer to the one from the site. smile.gif But if you're just a casual player, the one from in-game is good enough.

Most strongest special attack need long time to fully power up. By the time it fully power up opponent wallop you already. That's why most high dps come from either weakest or middle one between strongest and weakest moveset.

Higher DPS more desirable for attacking gyms.

Special skills with lower cool downs more desirable for defending gyms

Why...you old gyarados moveset not good .?
But actually i prefer a pair for each strong mon with different moveset . One for attack one for defend.

waveweaver previously noticed that movesets with lowest DPS will get highest DPS after evolving. From my observation, I noticed that too and just evolved the following Pokemon:

Weepinbell to Victreebell
acid (lowest DPS) > razor leaf (Highest DPS)
sludge bomb (Mid DPS) > solar beam (Highest DPS)

Clefairy to Clefable
pound (Lower DPS) > zen headbutt (Higher DPS)
disarming voice (Lowest DPS) > moonblast (Highest DPS)

Thanks bro, I now got a Dragon killer already brows.gif

sifu , got a question about dragonite moveset .

i ran through lots of website , most of them said dragon claw + dragon breath is the best attacker .

steel wing and dragon pulse is the best defender .

http://www.pogomoves.com/check.php?pkmn=Dr...arge=Hyper+Beam

link above state that dragon breath + hyperbeam is the best attacker .

i have a self evolved dragonite 96IV ( dragon breath + hyper beam) , Another one is 89IV (dragon breath + dragon pulse) ..

question is , is it worth to invest power up on the 96IV breath + beam ? or should i wait until i lucky enough to get a breath + claw /:

and certain website stat that crit is now not implemented yet although is in the code , so for now the dps diff is minimal for claw vs beam .

but if crit hit is implemented , claw will have 25% chance to crit while beam only have 5% .

D: so hard to decide , and damn ... no luck at all to get a good IV with breath and claw .

Now you know. After level 25 lagi teruk. Even weedle below 50 CP need three or four throw. Your pokeballs will drain like air paip bocor.!

Air paip bocor? I thought it's more like air terjun? laugh.gif

Excellent throw + curveball with ultra ball also macam no use.

Yeah..truly no use.
I know it's one of the marketing ploy to make the game interesting but i think it becoming too extreme already.

First we have to get unbelievable high xp in order to move to the next level after level 20 and keep on increasing. blink.gif

Secondly all the mons are getting more difficult to catch no matter what type of pokeballs we throw at them. I understand if the mons are rare or in their final stages or maybe have really high CP. But a pidgey or a weedle with less than 50 CP needed four or five throw really feel insulting to the trainer. A high level trainer should have more experience on how to throw well since they have thrown the pokeballs thousand of time prior to their current trainel level. They should getting better and not the other way around. mad.gif

Third..type of pokeballs and accuracy of throwing are really misleading. Excellent, great or nice throw have no meaning except getting extra xp points. A mon can still escape even after hit by ultraball with excellent throw. And to make matter worse after failed with ultraball you change back to red pokeball and now you manage to capture the blardy mon even without any nice, great or excellent throw rclxub.gif
