Best Moveset Spreadsheet

Nice thumbup.gif

This is what I've been referring to currently.

Or if want a simple to understand list, can go to Pokeassistant site (under Movesets tab). Easier to understand for those who hate numbers, a lot of numbers and maths lol

I notice if evolve a mon that have a weak moveset it come out with strong moveset after evolving. I'll try to experiment this theory further later on. hmm.gif

I have a 97.8% IV Eevee. Want to evolve it for attacking gyms. I have a randomly evolved Vaporean (low IV) and Flareon (perfect IV, low CP). What are my options? Rename it to Rainer and evolve?
*
Yup, rename it to Rainer since you haven't use the naming trick yet.

I haven't done the renaming trick before. But is Vaporean best for attacking? I see Flareon move set seems to be better... On average no lame moves... Vaporean Water Pulse seems to be weak...
*
Vapoeron for defense, Flareon for Attack, Jolteon for Speed (at least in the Nintendo games la cuz Niantic seems to f*ck things up by not including Speed stats in the stat multiplier making Pokemon like Alakazam, Gengar, Raichu and Jolteon seems way underpowered).

Update your PoGo. If it's still not in the Play Store, update it manually via APK Mirror

Anyone knows how to tell which attack is better? Is it from the higher no. shown next to the attacks or based on websites (example below is from http://www.eurogamer.net) ?

Zen Headbutt (11.43)
Lick (10)

Body Slam (25.64)
Hyper Beam (24)
Earthquake (23.81)

Those pics are from google as examples only.

Mine shows hyper beam 120, earthquake 100 and body slam 40. Based on this numbers, the sequence is different from DPS ranking from websites :

Body Slam (25.64)
Hyper Beam (24)
Earthquake (23.81)
So which one is reliable?
*
These are calculations based on damage per second (DPS). A more thorough and logical calculations imo cuz it takes many factors in consideration such as Same-Type-Attack-Bonus (STAB), the animation duration of each attacks etc. Hence they come out with the DPS thingy like you found on those websites. I personally refer to the one from the site. smile.gif But if you're just a casual player, the one from in-game is good enough.

There is no evolved pokemon nest exists. Prolly just a frequent spawn.

My highest CP pokemon is about 1300 ....

I saw one gym around me, only 1 Pokemon - 2000 CP Snorlax.
Do you think I can take over with my top 6 pokemon?
*
Just go for it la. Put those revives and potions to good use.

Got question to ask....hopefully can get a good answer from Pokemon expert here.
Wondering.....which is the best way...power up the pokemon and evolve or evolve first then only power up?
*
Evolve first, check if you get good movesets (Most movesets are good, though there are a few troll-like ones, eg Twister for Gyarados, Bulldoze for Arcanine, Flash Cannon for Blastoise).

If satisfied, then only can proceed to power it up.
