I did the same. But that doesn't mean there isn't an issue. Honda still needs to resolve the issue especially since only 3 of us have it so far I think.

There is a reason why sales for the ruby red has not been good even for the City what more for the Civic. I've heard talk that Honda is already planning to discontinue the color. Ure gonna have a hard time selling in future if you choose that color.

I like red too but surely not the Honda version of it. Makes the car look a bit 'sissy'.

Those who buy conti cars don't bother about resale value. We buy it for the driving dynamics. And once you drive a conti, ull never go back to a Japanese car. Its just 2 different worlds. And u can still own a conti and change every 5 yrs but you have to be a smart buyer. Never buy a brand new launch.

Getting a 1 yr old conti e.g BMW is good value because the previous owner has absorbed a lot of the drop in the resale value and the original manufacturer's warranty is transferable. There are many wannabes who rush and buy a brand new conti then after about 1 yr cant stand the high instalments and end up selling.

For instance, a brand new BMW 520i LCI last year was RM367K. But due to year end promo's, you could buy a zero mileage 2015 model then for only 303K with a lot of freebies. Currently the 2016 model 520i comes with the M Sports package (worth 50K) and is only selling for 275K. See how the price has dropped?

Sadly despite being a BMW fan and owner, I would have to agree with you on all your points above. The newly launched G30 is testament that BMW is still not willing to evolve in line with its competition especially Mercedes.

Any of the Civic Turbo owners done their 2nd service yet? If so what mileage did you reach?

Yes the Civic is the first Japanese car which really impressed me with its driving dynamics. If I was driving blindfolded, I might have been fooled into thinking its a conti.

Your mileage was 10K when you did your 2nd service? How is that possible with a Turbo since normally you would need to service earlier.
