I am using Vkool Elite now, parked under hot sun few hours but when I go in, didnt feel very hot. My the other car on LLumar Diamond 8(now they changed to 6) also do not have this issue. A good tint can prevent your car become very hot, it maintain the weather around 25 degree(They claimed), to me is like 28-30 degree. However it is acceptable and very fast cooling. Probably is still new tint.

Just my 2 cents.

Maintain ur car at 25c when parked under hot sun? Lol, do u know 25c can only be achievable with air cond on, let alone park under hot sun..

after 6 weeks driving the TC,

I like:

the linear power of the engine

the cvt efficiency and ease of use in traffic jams

the feel of the steering wheel

the ride is fantastic

going to the gas station and filling up the relatively small 47l gas tank

I don't like:

the deep throat roar of the engine when asked to work. its a 4 cylinder trying to sound like 8, unconvincingly. I recalled the 1.8 engine being a willing worker and sounding better

the one second lag in throttle response when floored

not impressed with the front seats which are not very supportive despite comfortable

android auto. only works occasionally. sometimes screen blank. not sure if my software is buggy

the material of the steering wheel which is easily torn or damage

I also just installed elite last week. Got a little problem opening my auto gate as it interferes with the signal. Heard it may also interfere with the gps on your HP. Haven't try that yet.

What about yours?

No issue on smart tag? Hmm... I remembered I installed on my previous previous car and it had issues... Will try out sometime this week.

I had llumar diamond 6, RAYTECH QX, 3M crystalline and huper optik - all had no problem with the auto gate but seems like Vkool does.

Under hot sun few hours in Malaysia windscreen sure very hot and definitely heat up the car interior no matter what tint you use. Just that good tint once you go in with aircond, car will cool down very fast and you wont feel hot while you are driving under hot sun. Im using Ultra 70 and RX, totally satisfied. way way better than Rhinepro XD 5 installed in my other car that cost 1.5k.

What is ur damage for ultra 70 & RX?

As suggested by hoss I will be adding a tint column on the proud owners list tomorrow. Do let me know what your tint is so that I can add your details in - if too few contribute the information by next month, I'll scrap the column.

- Update -

I already started searching previous threads on what tint did Civic X Owners installed on their rides. I didn't go through page by page, just used the search function. Do let me know (via reply or PM) for your tint to be updated on the first page.

Just testing out since almost everyone installed tints anyway, so it's kind of good to keep track who installed what tint so that we can compare tint performance etc. Just experimental for now, but if not much owners give info, it's better to scrap the idea.

Looks like the rear view mirror part - I'm guessing you have the TC-P? That part hides the wires to power the auto-dimming rear view mirror.

I only use MX and Q70, but i feel ok with it. If put the car under the sun for 1-2hrs, it is not too hot. But under the sun for long hours, sure hot, as Tser max is only 60, there is still 40% of heat penetrate into the cabin. But as long as it cool down fast, it is ok.
