Correct. SA are competing against each other for sales - People will always choose SA who give more discount for the same car.
Another thing is the PTPTN loan thingy - I settled my PTPTN loan just to get this Civic LOL! You should also try from other banks bro, I got my loan from Affin Bank after 2 previous cars from Maybank coz they insulted me verbally too. Not to mention that they arrogantly remain steadfast not wanting to lowering their interest rate.
Singapore has always been like that for a few years bro. They don't want vehicles on the road - forcing people to use public transportation. IINM minimum downpayment is 40% and maximum loan tenure is 5 years

The Banker might be correct, since he quote ur income.. If we need 9 years loan for a car, basically it means we can't afford it, and should go for cheaper car.. Expection applies only to those who have money to buy cash, but take long loan on purpose..

Recommended car loan should be around 5 years, max 7.. My 2 cents..

You're right. 30% downpayment and 7 years loan - like my current car loan lol! If Malaysia does this, 80% of the cars on the road will be P1 & P2
Lucky too coz my loan interest rate is lower than what it would be earlier this year.
