I have installed Android Auto APK on my phone but it doesn't seem to work with the car, supposedly it should work right?

There are 2 most possible cause, cable or phone compatibility. Not much i can help to trouble shoot, but try swapping cables, sometimes the most cheapo cable works and the factory provided cable doesn't.

Here is what i know from reading this forum.
Phone that confirm working: nexus 5x, nexus 5, nexus 6p
Phone that i've tested not working: samsung s4(korean version), xiao mi note 3 (china version)

Also make sure that your phone is running Android 5.0 and above. Because of civic X, i went to the extend of changing phone so that my andriod auto is working with 0 issue.

If not mistaken the click sound is relay on / off sound, tried to push on the power window lock button also having the similar sound.

I am using the original cable from my phone and my phone is running Android 6.0 so the OS should be compatible..
I'll try swapping cables later and see it if works..

dont cry lar. before booked my civic I also influenced by family not to get Mazda.

I liked Mazda3, but it is a love-hate thing.

1. too cramp
2. 18 inch stock rim
3. 3 yrs warranty
4. the only "3s" shop here in kota kinabalu looks really really pity, showroom very small and unappealing to be honest, scared not enough support in the future.
5. design.. okok lar, come on, where is soul red ?

same herem sometimes hitting 20, sometimes hitting 50 only got.
nowadays more towards 50kph only will click once.


not sure abnormal or not, Honda sure got excuse to justify

really disappointed with the QC.
Mine started to rattling after 3 days. sibeh potong stim.

i am not too sure about 13-20km/h clicking sound but i think the click sound for 50km/h is for auto cruise as the min speed for auto cruise to be used must be at least 50km/h and above. i only dislike the rattling noise somewhere around my steering. (even though the rattling not too obvious)

The rattling noise appeared when you drive on uneven road and humps, didn't hear it on smooth road.. Damn lol

Will check with em when doing my 1st service... The SA said 1st time they received this complaint.

my noise is different from you all. it could appear right after i start my car too. not necessary bump or no bump. it happens quite often these days and i still have 1.5k km to go for next service. video below

i have this problem also. i thought is normal, so i ignore it.

tht sound happens in US too. Most of the owners solved by replacing the VSA modulator. Perhaps you can ask SC to look into it

how could it be normal lol.. it frightens me when i first heard the noise at highway when driving up to penang.

Sentimental feeling.

Can't comment on civic but first impression, Mazda 3 handling is awesome.

My opinion, design is stylish. Civic a bit overdo.

Wow... that's quite loud. Could it be from the turbo unit?

How much did they took your car in? And what year?

When a car is stolen, best is it will never be recovered!

No offense, why thieves wanna steal a mazda? Usually,p they would go for popular brands.

mine is turbo unit but it doesn't relate to turbo or not. saw few people in different models complaining in facebook fanpage.

I have my 1.5TC WOP delivered last Friday. I got the annoying rattling sound from behind the steering after hitting a few bumps this morning. Sigh...
