Went to samsung, gave me a brand new Note 5 to use a loaner until Digi yellow THING comes on 29th for replacement, then only need to return the Note 5. Standard agreement kalau rosak yada yada .

At least ada something to use.

At least they give you a brand new one, not a refurbished unit. That's very good liao. thumbup.gif

Dont think gonna be that easy. Samsung brand image is not strong like toyota and honda.

For sure, Samsung will have no problem at all in their motherland Korea bacause Samsung is one of the backbones of Korea's economy structure. They won't let it down so easily. Not at this moment.

But for the international market, that will be another story to tell.

It was clearly you are bothered by it or else you won't reply with this kind of tone.
If I keep silent, you said I am angry. if i replied, then you said I am bothered with your message. Whatever la. No matter what i do, you won't be satisfied. rclxms.gif

But it is ok, you can keep doing the whole negativity thing here because this thread is clearly not for fanboyism but for the hate, at least this is what the guy who is going to buy iphone 7 told me.

So you are saying those forumers who do enjoy my posts, support my sharings, they all appreciate my posts because I am spreading hatred in here? Ok la. whatever floats your boat. So please leave me alone ya. biggrin.gif

Have registered a complaint to Samsung @ http://www.samsung.com/in/info/contactus.html#

Hope more people can do the same. See if anything changes.

=====================================================

I'm writing this message in hope to raise the awareness of Samsung Korea to overlook the inappropriate recall procedure imposed by Samsung Malaysia Electronics (SME)..........
Good movememnt, bro. Juts to let you know that not only in here, Taiwanese users are also facing the same problem. Their replacement day is today. Various complaints shows up. Some of them are really ridiclous. For example, an owner was rejected on the exchange programme because he lost the manual book. really speechless. doh.gif

Not sure if they realised that such act actually tarnish Samsung reputation further.

They actually put customers safety behind just for a booklet?  Simply ridiculous!

Really scratching my head on this. Other than this, there's also one case which is totally blow my mind. Another Taiwanese user called SC and asked what if he lost the accesories? The SC guy answered him said they will take back the accessories from the new replacement unit box. For example, the phone you returned got no S-Pen, then they will take the S-pen out from the replcement unit before they give it to you. You want the S-Pen, you need to pay for it.

I guess eventhough Korea HQ already gave straight order on how to proceed the replacement programme, there are still got some people who are trying to take advantages from this. sweat.gif

Not sure if the Customer service is stupid or ignorance. What was missing from the returned package, just take them out from the replacement package la, so easy. doh.gif

It seems logical. But then some people would complain because Korea HQ already claimed that you will get the replacement unit no matter what. I guess people expected that each country's Samsung branch would follow the same procedure. But at the end, every country have their own procedure. sweat.gif

Ya. It supposed to be like that. But according to the Taiwanese owners who went to change their phone this morning, they said it's not the case. Some of them were rejected due to different reasons. Some of the reasosn do not make sense at all.

Latest report from the 1st explosion case in China. Report attached below (in mandarin)

ALT battery factory (The battery supplier of China's Note 7) released an official announcement today. Based on their early stage analysis, they claimed that the root cause has nothing to do with the battery. Based on the burn mark of the phone, they claimed that the heat source was not only coming from the battery iself, it might also caused by some other factors.

So ALT has spoken. They said it's not their responsibility. In other words, they kicked the ball back to Samsung.
