Err, is this World Champion performance supposed to be? Credit to crash.net

He was consistently in the top 5 that year but not dominant, I wasn't expecting him to win any races even. And personally I don't think he is mentally strong enough. He's been struggling with confidence a lot this year.

Good ride by Marini. Diam2 he finished 4th and top Independent while others make mistakes. Some surprising fun and games in Moto2 as Chantra try to overtake Ogura despite "2nd OK" message.

Could it be Yamaha bike friendly on the tyres while Ducati bikes worn out tyres?

FQ was on the hard front. Pecco and Miller on the soft.

Mir will suffer like rest of MM team mates cuz nobody can match MM speed and even worse the Honda is tailor made only for MM.
*
I also think he will suffer,at least in the beginning. If I remember correctly, it took him some time to make the Suzuki work for him too.

On the other side of things, Oliviera rejected KTM/GasGas offer and went with Rnf Aprilia along with Raul Fernandez. So many rider/bike combo changes for next season.

Clumsy Pecco got grid penalty due to going too slow on the racing line, sigh....
*
If he is one of the top qualifiers should not be a problem for him to claw back positions.

BTW, 1 thing I have been wondering, why Zarco isn't even considered for the factory Ducati seat? Too old? Must be quite demotivating.

Zarco another overhyped rider, podium runner without win for many years, be it Yamaha bike or Ducati bike. Sometime when you believe he will be doing well after a few races on podium or leading in free practices,  crash or falls sure happen.
*
Never win in MotoGP actually but double Moto2 champion. But as I was writing that, commentator talked about him. Seems like they prefer younger rider so can have a longer term project. Also helps that Italian and Spanish influence is stronger in the paddock. Seemed odd to me despite him currently being 3rd in the championship.

Another good ride by Marini although he faded a bit towards the end. He's getting to be one of my favourite riders.

Now no more Rossi racing MotoGP, I wonder this year's Sepang race it'll be flooded with Red Ducati fanboys? Recent years Ducati brand getting more and more popular here, not sure is it our income is getting so good can afford such luxury brand..
*
As seen in most of the races so far this year, there's still the flourescent yellow army around. I expect a lot more Yamaha fans kot. Also first time in a while no Malaysian rider representation. Hopefully there's a wildcard though.

All top 3 crashed once this weekend in WSBK eventhough AB was a victim of another clumsy riding by JR. TR would have been exactly equal in points with AB if he didn't crash in the 1st race.
*
Funny the commentators didn't comment on AB's comment about JR lol.

Wow, I'd say they learned tactics from their team boss but he immediately denied it.

What a dramatic race. Either FB or EB deserved to win the race, good clean race by both. Once again, in the background Marini took 7th from Zarco. Too bad he won't be on the latest spec bike next year.

Yup, and Pecco also didn't want to take too much risk once FQ crashed out.

Hopefully Pecco's crash is the last this season, still want him to win the Championship. I prefer to have more champions racing on the grid. In WSBK AB surprisingly just won his Triple race of the season, I expected it to be earlier. So this year we will probably have at least 1 Red world champion. WSBK almost sure, MotoGP on the fence, F1 can forget about it lol.

Either Pecco or Aleix will do, Fabio can stand aside this year lol. In fact, I'd like at least 3 new champions in the next 3 years.
