QUOTE(Aydee @ Nov 17 2017, 09:13 AM) JL probably wants to be at Honda, MM won't mind I think. 2019 will see major reshuffle in the rider market. VR most probably wont continue by then. DP mentioned interest in riding other bikes(maybe swap with JL) I hope 2019 MM go Ducati (ambitious to prove he's the best), JL to Honda, DP to Yamaha. winning championship on Ducati will auto-promoted to GOAT status This post has been edited by voscar: Nov 17 2017, 08:21 PM |

so we are getting an exciting season. 3 different team dominated 3 different test venue and each other suffer on different track. This is another well-balanced race year. woohoo.
yamaha and ducati suffered at thailand, ducati dominated malaysia, honda suffer at Qatar. lol |

Again Dovizioso hold off MM. I think since last year MM has been struggling to overtake Dovizioso. Hmm.

QUOTE(Aydee @ Mar 26 2018, 08:43 PM) 3 winners in 4 races. Rea only leading by 2 points as of now. Upcoming Honda Cub-alike CVT transmission so no worry about rev limit, hahaIt All on rev limits. But they can play around with gear ratios eg last year they may need 6 gears for a race, this year probably need 7 or 8. This will change how they tackle corners ie previous maybe just downshift from 6th to 4th, now maybe 7th to 5th or 4th. It changes the whole behaviour of the bike. Those who can adapt faster should have an advantage. Makes for closer racing. |

QUOTE(6UE5T @ Apr 9 2018, 11:30 AM) Crazy race! Pity Zarco did not manage to beat Crutchlow but good battle nonetheless at the front. MM in video game mode! Touching, scrapping, forcing other riders like nobody business.MM was simply riding as if he was playing video games! https://www.crash.net/motogp/news/893379/1/...royed-our-sport Rossi remark of "scared" of racing with him, wow! This isn't the Rossi vs Stoner, Rossi MM Sepang that I know of. |

I think 355km/h would be the current MotoGP limits. Pirro lost control then crashed and Dovi's engine in flame... both happened on same top speed straight and factory ducati bike...
2 years back Yamaha Lorenzo and Rossi engine failed on same spot too. This post has been edited by voscar: Jun 2 2018, 12:45 AM |

QUOTE(6UE5T @ Jun 3 2018, 11:39 PM) Finally MM also made a mistake in the race! Unfortunately VR cannot capitalize to the max so gap still a significant 23 pts. It was so obvious that he was losing time in the last corner accelerating to the front straight. No surprise MM crashed in the race. Given his crashing attitude I'm surprised he seldom crash in the race after year 2015. Year 2015 was his disaster year when he crashed so frequent in races..So finally JL proves that he can indeed win on the Duc. The Ducs were like missiles today on that straight. Good win for him but is it a little too late? |

I think JL made the wrong decision on wrong timing. These 2 years it seems Honda bike are hard to tame, even Marquez also encounter numerous crash. While now it seems Ducati are more rider friendly and easily can get into podium.
