Everyone saying Silverstone will be real benchmark for Yamaha and Honda performance. Winner of this race will have the most bet for the year end championship...

suddenly yamaha not doing bad...laugh.gif

the mystery continues...
*
They said this track is benchmark for upcoming races. If Yamaha doing well here they have opportunity to turn around the championship in upcoming races. Haha.

Great win by dovi...

Looks like Yamaha got it right this time. biggrin.gif

Too bad for marquez his bike blew up...
*
game over for marc marquez, this year star is aligning for bravo dovizioso. I support dovi for this year championship.
looks like yamaha could relief they won't be so much trouble in coming races as mentioned by some others if this is benchmark track for upcoming races.

MM and Dovi anytime might DNF due to some crash as usual...
VR and Vinales more consistent, seldom DNF due to crash, but VR would be beaten by younger faster Vinales.

but engine failure very hard to predict.. anybody could have it, hehe...

VR seems to be such a thrill/speed junkie that he just cannot stay away from such activities, unfortunately often injuring him.
*
same goes to Michael Schumacher, speed junkies often take speed-extreme activities...

MM The Crasher launching the championship comeback in wet/complicated condition similar to last year? Then he need to pray he wouldn't crash in race. Nowadays he's crashing almost every race practice/warm up...

rossi will be racing at aragorn this weekend..brows.gif

Fellow diehard fans must be so happy The Legend is back. But I think the focus on their team would be helping Vinales hunt for championship points.

he is trying the bike limits on the track.

better crash now then on sunday. biggrin.gif

wait, isn't sometime a serious crash will damage the engine or transmission? MotoGP no grid penalty like f1 if replacing damaged engine/transmission?

It seems like the Honda was not easy to ride in wet, Crutchlow, Pedrosa either crashing or complaining no grip.. top 10 only 1 Honda.. MM really the rider king by mastering that to 2nd, almost a 1st...

What great race, another battle until the last corner! Hats off to Dovi for being able to do that twice now to MM and this time in the wet!

So now basically a 2 dog fight as MV chances is already slim which is a pity. VR now officially already out of the contention.
*
I think Dovi will be in MM head now, the nemesis that beaten him last corner twice.. never in MM motogp career he was beaten like that, usually he's the one doing that to others, haha...

the last corner effort in that motegi race to me is just MM just wanna try last hurrahhh....

(nothing harm) to him and dovi.... just if dovi was some sort of newbie, sure will fall into the trap and MM end up leading to finishing line...
its like tag pull n push game.. lol
plus i think MM already maxed the tyre and couldnt do anything more to counter after the mistake several corners earlier...

if not he will leading comfortable win on that lap...
*
Yes, MM tried but failed twice this year, so either his head will have Dovizioso as nemesis and getting mental block like Stoner "Rossi", or come back stronger approach to attack Dovizioso without fear but risking for crash.. haha.

Nowadays Philip Island lap time so close! Dovizioso and MM sticking each other... Gone are the days Stoner almost smoking everyone with 1-2 sec.. Rossi got once very near to him only I remember.

Dovi did win in Sepang 2016.

Seems he is comfortable with this track.
*
Sepang seems to be Ducati track.. their previous record over here seems quite good..

Good performance by Dovi despite possible hidden team orders by Duc. Anyway still a tall order, he needs a miracle (or disaster on MM side) to win the title from MM. MM just needs to cruise along. smile.gif

No lar, you guys forgot Lorenzo and MM the duo Spaniard brokeback mountain covering each other to beat Italian Rossi during 2015? Dovi is Italian btw, semangat negara yo..

Yup only left Supercars, also 1 more weekend to go (2 races) between JW & SM.

Well even if JL let Dovi past, Dovi would not be able to win the title coz MM still will finish 4th or 5th. Anyway Dovi also crashed out. Just that Dovi should know by now that he cannot expect help from JL in the future and Duc has to think how to manage JL coz he's does not obey the team.

Didn't watch the race, does Ducati recommending Engine Mapping 8 on dash again to Lorenzo ytd?

yes it did, quite a few times. JL ignored it though, can see the frustration on gigi dall'igna face. at last, both Duc crashed. laugh.gif

On dash not enough, next time implement on helmet shield. Disobey the order then put bigger and bigger font size till the rider surrendered. Haha
