A bit of crapshoot from MM but sometimes even a peak MM would crash like that in changing conditions.

When I heard Sasaki hit Dupasquier first before his bike, I know it would be serious.

QUOTE(skylinelover @ Jun 14 2021, 12:20 PM) I remember back then AMA/BSB regulars used to make wild card appearances when WSBK came to Laguna Seca/Donington/Brands Hatch. They'd smoke some of WSBK regulars & sometimes even beat the top rider. Same thing happened when they go to Japan |

A fully fit MM can be either a blessing or curse to championship contenders. Imagine getting screwed out of the championship because MM took points from them

Still can't believe how Edwards dropped the ball on that one. |

QUOTE(6UE5T @ Jun 28 2021, 11:12 PM) So MV will go Aprilia, then I think Morbi will take his seat along FQ unless Dovi somehow interferes with that. VR will retire, so Petronas should have 2 vacant seats. So who will get these 2 seats? Bezzechi, Raul, Gardner? Gardner has signed for Tech 3 & I'm not sure if KTM wants to let Raul go to other teams (they always hoard talents for themselves). Bezzecchi is a bit unknown but could end up on VR46 if the boss himself choose to retire (the other ride at VR46 is probably reserved for Marini).I think the only vacant slots without a guaranteed riders are factory Yamaha & SRT (Morbidelli still have a contract with SRT next year but don't be surprised if Yamaha bails him out) & the other seat at Tech 3 (they're gonna sacrifice either Petrux or Lecuona or both for Raul. Razlan & Meregalli would be spoilt for choice 6UE5T liked this post

Unlucky for Rea but that should spice up the championship race.

QUOTE(Aydee @ Aug 6 2021, 03:57 PM) He said 2019 he was doing quite well, 3rd in the championship even without a win. In a way it's true. 3rd in the championship is no mean feat considering his age and lack of top speed for the Yamaha. 2020 was ok in the beginning but it went downhill later in the season. But this year a lot of fast young guns. https://www.motogp.com/en/Results+Statistic.../World+StandingMaybe try not to mislead others |

QUOTE(6UE5T @ Aug 6 2021, 07:20 PM) No lah, 2019 he was already pretty obviously struggling to keep up. 2018 should have been his last season then his retirement is better cuz at least retired while still relatively on a high, not like now. Well anyway most sportsmen are like that, they don't know when to quit gracefully and stayed too long hence retired while already beaten up badly. Those who retired while still good most of the time got itchy and returned only to be beaten up (Mohd Ali, Larry Holmes, Michael Jordan, Scummaker, Kimi, and now VR). MJ at baseball did better than Schumi in superbike & Kimi in Nascar 😆 |

QUOTE(6UE5T @ Aug 9 2021, 12:14 PM) Yah, I don't understand this rule, if one messes up then he should not be allowed to restart like this, not fair IMHO. The crash happened too soon... ![]() https://www.fim-moto.com/fileadmin/library/...ulations_01.pdf |
