Tried out the i7 and 7 Plus for 30 minutes. What I can conclude is:

- Not much changes compared to 6S.
- Slightly speedier than 6S.
- Pics taken are more true to the actual color.
- Screen on 7 is warmer compared to 6S.
- Home button works great. The haptic feedback actually works really well. I got used to it after 15 minutes.
- Personally the matte black is a fingerprint magnet. I'm not a fan. If you're like me who likes space gray, the closest thing to space gray is now silver.
- The dual speaker set up is now really loud.
- The 2x zoom on the 7+ really isn't anything to shout about. Unless you're always zooming when taking pics (who does that?!), this is more of a gimmick than of real use.

There's really nothing much else to comment since it's so similar to the 6S. I've updated to iOS10 so my 6S is really snappy.
For those who wants to compare Space Gray to Black, I know you seldom see them being side by side so feel free to see the images I took below. Jet Black wasn't on display so I can't comment much but I've heard its really prone to scratches (and looks like the plastic 5C).

These are purely my personal opinions. I just want to share with y'all my views and hopefully help out a potential buyer. Call me an iFag if you want to. I've been using the iPhone ever since the first but this time round, I'm still trying to figure why I want/need the iPhone 7.

Home button feels great man. I thought it was gonna suck but after trying it in person I must say it's really easy to get used to it.

is it hard to press it ?
since it is using force touch, worry the home button is hard as those macbook trackpad doh.gif

nice short view, so basically in your opinion you prefer 7 or 7 plus since the x2 optical zoom quite useless for you right laugh.gif

It is very easy to press. Almost as good as a touch button on android devices.
And Apple gives you 3 options of how strong you want the haptic feedback to be.
Level 1 is the lightest - which means it only vibrates lightly when you press the home button. Level 3 is the strongest. You can actually feel the whole phone vibrating more here.
I'm OK with Level 2 lol.

For me, I prefer i7 because of size. The plus models have always been too large for my hand.
Optical zoom is useless for me but Apple will introduce this new bokeh effect for the 7 Plus camera in the next update. I think those who like photography with lots of bokeh effects will appreciate this feature.

I completely agree with you. In my opinion, my favorite colors in sequence are:

Silver > Rose Gold > Gold > Black > Jet Black

I think this is the exact opposite for most laugh.gif

That's why.... priorities people! My colleague who works for SGD branch of my company earns average SGD 4k per month, 128gb iphone 7 only SGD 1218. That's 30% of their monthly salary. Over here in MYR, salary average RM5k for the same job. 128gb iphone 7 RM3699 (est). 74% of their monthly income. Sad but true.

then is glad to hear that
btw why need the home button to vibrate, is it to inform user that they press the home button already rclxub.gif
for the Plus model, it is way longer than my note 7, and nowadays I prefer smaller phone, easier for me to play Pokemon Go and the phone is lighter laugh.gif
as for bokeh effect, not really interested on it since I am not a good photographer since a lot apps can do them but off course is worse than it laugh.gif

Yeah, the color preference poll I ran shows the exact opposite of your favorites, ha ha. But then again, the poll started before anyone had a chance to touch and see the real thing. I'm still targeting the black, but lets see when it gets launched here...

Different people different needs. Actually the 2x optical zoom is the main reason I want iPhone 7 Plus. Haha! It is obvious useful for me.

Color wise, beside Jet Black and Black, this time the silver look very nice, another 2 colors is completely out from my selection.

My prefer color Jet Black (I know it scratch within a day but I will use transparent case, so shall be ok), Black and then Silver.

Yup. Because it is now not a button. There is no click. You can only push on it as if you were trying to activate 3D touch on your screen.
But it's way easier and more sensitive than the screen. Push little bit can already. And it will vibrate to let you know you have pushed it. Hope that makes sense. Haha.

Yeah bokeh effect actually similar to those on Huawei P9, Honor 8, etc. It's actually for ppl who are not good in photography - so when they take photo, although you're not a pro, but end result will look pro laugh.gif

Exactly bro. Diff ppl diff wants/needs. That's why I was sure to add *my personal opinion* at the end. Or else kena bash from others laugh.gif

I guess in terms of color, people should just get what they like best. Some of my colleagues like gold. But because the new Jet Black was so hyped up and used in all the ads, they feel like it's more famous/glamorous so they end up getting the Jet Black, which is what they don't really like, but what society thinks is cool. Messed up. But alahh, suka hati la dia biggrin.gif
