Switch u can buy accidental damage though not sure what it covers but last time I asked the phone has to be purchase at switch.

I just went to Machines NU Sentral, one of the staff say that if we buy new iPhone 7 plus that has the same hissing issues, she ask me to go KLCC Machines Service Center to get it service, not get new unit on the spot...

Still contemplating between 7 or 7 plus. Budget not really an issue since i tend to use phones for a very very very long time. Currently using a 4s and only reason im changing is it doesnt listens to me anymore and i broke the screen recently. Just uncomfortable by how large the phone will be in my pocket

Only once. A long time ago, when dinosaurs still ruled the earth, there was a smartphone by the name of HTC Touch Diamond (if you remember it, then I'll know how old you are) and I bought it from Senheng with extended warranty for 3 years. The phone malfunctioned after 1.5 years and I took it to Senheng to repair, and didn't get the phone back till like 2.5 months later. So that was a very bad experience but it was such a long time ago I wouldn't know if it is still a valid yardstick to measure their performance for after sales service. For me right now the extra year warranty is just something that adds a bit of value to my stuffs before I sell it

Love the extra camera zingss on the plus model but being a guy, i dont have the extra real estate in the form of a handbag to keep my phone. So probably will go and see how it feels again in my palm and pocket

Actually the plan was to change phone every two years but nowadays it seems like I'm changing it every year just for the sake of changing

If you're coming from 4S, then the 7 will probably feel the most comfortable in your hands and pockets. The Plus version takes some time to get used to. I went from iPhone 4 to iPhone 5, then defected to Note 3, and went back to iPhone 6 Plus, so the jump from Note 3 to iPhone 6 Plus wasn't that bad, but from iPhone 5 to the Note 3, it took some time to adjust to not being able to sit comfortable for prolonged period with the phone in your pocket especially when you're wearing jeans - particularly when you're driving. Also, the ability to operate the phone comfortably using one hand is something you will miss with the Plus size. But other than that, the Plus is a must for me, not for the camera or screen estate, but more because of the battery life.

I had almost the same experience, sold my ip5 after getting Note 3 but later get another 5s before selling my Note 3 and 5s to change to 6+, now I am still with 6s+ waiting for 7+. Being a guy has the advantage of having bigger pocket than the lady, the trick of owning 5.5" iPhone is don't ever get thick casing, get a full protection of casing from scratch is good enough for me, having thin case of 5.5" iPhone will make it so much easier to hold than thick casing. For e.g. my Spigen airskin is so much nicer to hold than Spigen liquid crystal casing.

If din buy plus model, scared will regret after that
