I had almost the same experience, sold my ip5 after getting Note 3 but later get another 5s before selling my Note 3 and 5s to change to 6+, now I am still with 6s+ waiting for 7+. Being a guy has the advantage of having bigger pocket than the lady, the trick of owning 5.5" iPhone is don't ever get thick casing, get a full protection of casing from scratch is good enough for me, having thin case of 5.5" iPhone will make it so much easier to hold than thick casing. For e.g. my Spigen airskin is so much nicer to hold than Spigen liquid crystal casing.

Yup, for Malaysia, you can buy AppleCare for iPads and Macs only, but not iPhones.

Beyond the 1 year official Apple warranty, any extended warranty will be provided by third party, e.g. SenQ, Harvey Norman, etc.

in Malaysia we can buy Applecare for iPad, iPod and Mac

But, if encounter the hissing issue how to get the replacement if on Mac city?

thanks guys for the info. Didn't know this before. Too bad then knowing in Malaysia we can't buy the AppleCare for iPhone. Any particular reason(s) for it? It's weird right, that I can purchase iPad wtih AppleCare but not the iPhones. Lol. 

The price will be about the same for all, be it Machines, Switch, SenQ, but the latter offers extended warranty purchase at a cost. Doesn't matter about 3rd party warranty, it's a warranty, as in compared to buying from them Apple official retailers, after one year, you're on your own. Thinking of going the SenQ route this time around for the iP7+.

Could you adjust going back to the 5S after the Note 3? I couldn't. They say once you go big, you'll never go back to small

I am happier with 5s than Note 3 as the 3GB ram also not enough for Android that time, my Note 3 always get overheated and being a user since iPhone 2G, I prefer iOS in 5s than Note 3 in Android. Having a choice in iOS phone size since iPhone 6 plus, yes I won't get any smaller phone than 5.5" in iOS ever.

If you're coming from 4S, then the 7 will probably feel the most comfortable in your hands and pockets. The Plus version takes some time to get used to. I went from iPhone 4 to iPhone 5, then defected to Note 3, and went back to iPhone 6 Plus, so the jump from Note 3 to iPhone 6 Plus wasn't that bad, but from iPhone 5 to the Note 3, it took some time to adjust to not being able to sit comfortable for prolonged period with the phone in your pocket especially when you're wearing jeans - particularly when you're driving. Also, the ability to operate the phone comfortably using one hand is something you will miss with the Plus size. But other than that, the Plus is a must for me, not for the camera or screen estate, but more because of the battery life.

Yup i operate my phone alot with one hand, the 7 was my original choice, but with the 7+ now at a different level, starting to doubt my choice. Still have 4 days before pre orders start to decide. I can no longer hold on to my 4s. 

Too bad your 4s screen broken, else you can consider selling it, I did sell 2 iPhone 4 of my parents' few months back and get them new 5s, so much better even 5s in iOS9. Their iPhone 4 in iOS 7 are driving me crazy in getting the latest apps to work. The good part each iPhone 4 can get back RM400 which is not bad for a phone that is 5 years old.

It probably take you few weeks to not get use to 5.5", you won't be bother 4.7" after having it for few weeks.

No place is better than in mudah.my today. Used to sell in lowyat forum but nowadays mudah better. Talking about iPhone selling, I have sold 11 iPhones to date.

Love the extra camera zingss on the plus model but being a guy, i dont have the extra real estate in the form of a handbag to keep my phone. So probably will go and see how it feels again in my palm and pocket

Actually the plan was to change phone every two years but nowadays it seems like I'm changing it every year just for the sake of changing

I would say i7 for single handed use is good and easy to keep in the pockets.

Been checking out some cases at mac city. Unfortunately, i7 cases not in yet. Machines has some (according to my friend) but I've yet to drop in and have a look.
