Most people want is brilliant output from mobile camera not spend extra to buy those portable digital camera, it is huge burden to carry those portable digital camera also, where you gonna put? inside bag? Not everyone carrying bag, inside pocket? Sorry it still kind of bulky and not comfortable to carry one pocket phone, another pocket portable digital camera.

Portable digital camera is dying, not much people will buying it anymore because phone can do it and did it brilliantly, and camera in phone will keep better and better.

DSLR still will be there and possible forever but portable digital camera? No point buying it at all.

Now camera in phone is priority, most people will check camera in phone than others functions.

I get your point, but I think phone is constantly downgrading their capability by making it thinner, I think camera won't go far in mobile, UNLESS they made a modular parts for it with much bigger sensor and all.

Thinner is last year trend, this year seems nobody talk on slimming down anymore. Hehe

Technology keep update, we won't know what will appear in future. Possible new thing coming out, not matter how I believe camera is main point in mobile at least this few years or maybe forever. Haha.

people are demand too much.. but the theory behind of photography is not breakable.. small sensor in smartphone camera will not achieve any special wow impact..

even the professional also need proper lighting/tripod for photography.. so dont expect any smartphone camera can exceed DSLR/real camera in real life..

smartphone camera are usable for daily life capture.. expect some blur/noise.. other than that, all manufacturers are trying to deliver something to attract some new buyers and feel their products are WOW.. in fact, still under 1/2.3 inch sensor or 1/3.2 inch sensor..

People not expect until that level of DSLR. Just a clear details image, no oil painting effect, no too crazy noise, no side blur issue. That it. (I am criticizing all previous Sony phone issue, haha oops)..

Added features like optical zoom and extreme wide angle or even the pure black and white is welcome.

I dont mind anything that come from Sony as long as they make Z Ultra successor. Make it XZ Ultra with 6.44" please, not 6". Been waiting since then, but Xiaomi did it with Mi Max.

As long as hp camera sensor is small compare to digital camera than hp camera will nvr win in image quality
Unless ur pic is for wasap n fb or ig, then it's ok.

But for special moment or event that need to be remembered, digital camera is still better.

For me, i rather buy cheap rm500 hp n 2nd hand camera like rx100mk2 for rm1.5k instead of pay 2.5k for hp only

This price should be expected for a flagship phone. Moreover with our ever falling currency. Any pointers to when this phone will be launched here?
