Kakaka... I very tulan at the moment. My contractor fong fei kei.
Do half way he run away coz he no more money. I gave him almost complete. Now house half half.

Hopefully can get the house ready in a month's time. Or else I harakiri already...

get a cheap contractor ... always give you problem ... I rather pay extra fee to deal with reputable contractor

clngu, I would not jump into conclusion that it is a cheap contractor that timothyy got.

Even reputable contractor (in bad times such as current) might have financial problems or difficulties as their operating expenses are high. Even though chances are slim, possibility is there.

I guess luck isnt on bro timothyy's side.

What to do... we poor people... not rich people. Who doesn't want the bathroom all made of gold? Who doesn't want to use expensive things for everything? If only we have golden goose to lay eggs.

Anyway, the contractor I chose did my colleague's house reno... costed him RM150k and since my colleague is a very conservative fella and very particular to the last details, I thought I have found a good contractor. The guy is OK but he is definitely not those well off contractors who wear Diamond studded Gold Rado watch and only instruct his workers to do things.

This contractor... although he gave me a lot of problem now but I believe he has his own matter that we donno.

But at last, I managed to contact him and he agrees to finish what he has left.

Bro, at least is a good news that he continue to finish outstanding work for you ... sometimes hard to know whether the contractor ok or not since he did well for your friend's house

my advice, go to Home Deco, etc ... you can find a reputable contractor there for your next project
