I started in October 2006 by ideas going through my mind... drawing sketches and searching for the right projector, searching for the right projector screen...
So, I started painting my living room around mid of November 2006. Got it done within 4 days or so... wife didn't help. Ha! Ha!... So, the house started look like sh!t since then until today because of rubbish and stuff.
Just want to thank my wife for being so understanding and supportive on this project. She did help me... a lot even when she should not...
I'll begin with one before I started the project... this was my house... apartment before...

This is the not completed wall

This is the completed wall (psst... thats my wife watching her fav 29" TV... Astro)
Note that I had aircon installed and new curtain as well. Didn't go for black out cloth material as they don't look so good.

Then, by 30th November 2006, I can considered the first guy in Malaysia got the projector...
First thing I do? Took it out, shoot it onto my red color wall...

After figuring what size I can actually project through this baby, I sent my screen material to a frame maker and asked him to make 110 x 57" screen...
Wasted... I didn't take pics of how we brought the ready made screen up my apartment... Imagine 9-foot long screen. It couldn't go into the lift... so, we got to carry through the stair case. And the 9-footer couldnt twist and turn... so, we got to hold it in the middle of the stair case and we walk up holding it and passing it up slowly. Wow... the best exercise I ever did. He! He! And that was 10pm that day... it was around 10 Dec 06.
And here is the result

Now, my first try was on my dining table using a foot stool .

This one from another angle... The room is still messy as things not complete yet...

And this is my HDMI cable I bought... 15m length...

This pulak... my S-Video cable... 20m length. Its not so good as it starts to give me problem now.

OK... now, mounting my projector onto the ceiling was the hardest job I ever done. Drilling 4 wall plug holes was like taking my whole life... till today, I still feel tired... kakaka
Here is the finished product.
