My stock launcher weather widget fail to work and keep on giving me FC, so I changed to squarehome 2. Works quite well since it's pretty much customizable and TV friendly cause can make those icons as big as u want

I'm using DD/DTS passthru via HDMI . Need to set at the player. My case I'm using Kodi, refer image attached. Got 1 problem though, adjusting gt1 volume will break pass thru and cause continuous white noise. During passthru need to adjust volume on amplifier to avoid breaking passthru audio

Anyone on gt1 running superceleron or any other custom Roms?

Is there any custom ROM that is not GT1 firmware based?

Means the 1 u using is not GT1 firmware based?

Do you have exposed installed ? If yes then can try root cloak module and hide root from AOTG then try to play.

I'm on official gt1 firmware, can hide root successfully using Xposed and root cloak but video not playing , it just forever loading

Yet to rooted but all the su BusyBox is already in system. That's y AOTG detects it.

Anyway, since you mentioned the kernel only different , probably the rest is still based on the gt1 official fw

Reporting in my recent test result. Updated to Kodi v17 and everything seems to be running fine. Until 1 day I tried to run a movie with DTS audio via passthru which was working fine in v16.1 . Too bad, DTS passthru seems broken in v17. DD passthru seems to work still though.
Now downgraded back to v16.1 and DTS passthru works as expected.

U can still get it from the official website. Look for older version

Can run, but only 2 channels can be streamed. Go shop and one more malay channel, can't remember which one. This is on stock GT1 ROM.

I'm guessing it's due to absence of widewine level 1 due to copyrighted stuffs. Just guessing though . Could be the app sucks lol
